Very thoughtful, smart, and thorough staff. It’s really hard to find a good vet these days and I’m very pleased with Dr. Gross and his staff for our beloved dogs and cats.

At Corvallis Veterinary Hospital, we understand the deep bond you share with your pets and the importance of entrusting their care to a compassionate and competent team. Our facility strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for both you and your furry friends. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance, such as waiting areas, examination rooms, and specialized treatment spaces, are best experienced during a visit, we are dedicated to maintaining a clean, organized, and stress-free atmosphere to ensure a positive experience for every patient. Our priority is to make your pet feel as safe and comfortable as possible during their time with us.

The cornerstone of Corvallis Veterinary Hospital is our comprehensive range of veterinary services designed to address the diverse health needs of your pets throughout their lives. While specific service offerings can evolve, typical services provided by a well-regarded Pet Hospital like ours often include:

Preventative Care: We strongly believe that proactive healthcare is essential for a long and healthy life for your pet. Our preventative care services are tailored to your pet's age, breed, lifestyle, and individual needs. These services may include routine wellness examinations, vaccinations to protect against common and potentially life-threatening diseases, parasite prevention programs for fleas, ticks, heartworms, and internal parasites, nutritional counseling to ensure your pet is receiving a balanced diet, and dental care recommendations to maintain optimal oral hygiene.

Diagnostic Services: In cases where your pet is unwell, accurate and timely diagnosis is crucial. Corvallis Veterinary Hospital is equipped with essential diagnostic tools to help our veterinarians assess your pet's condition effectively. These may include in-house laboratory services for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations, digital radiography (X-rays) to visualize internal structures, and potentially other advanced imaging techniques. Our ability to perform these diagnostics on-site often allows for quicker results and a more efficient treatment plan.

Medical Care: Our experienced veterinarians are skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions affecting dogs and cats. This includes managing acute illnesses, chronic diseases, allergies, dermatological issues, gastrointestinal problems, respiratory conditions, endocrine disorders, and more. We are committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based medical care to help your pet recover and maintain a good quality of life.

Surgical Services: When surgical intervention is necessary, Corvallis Veterinary Hospital offers a range of surgical procedures. These may include routine surgeries such as spaying and neutering, as well as more complex soft tissue surgeries. We prioritize patient safety and utilize appropriate anesthetic protocols and monitoring equipment to ensure the well-being of your pet during any surgical procedure. Post-operative care and pain management are also integral parts of our surgical services.

Dental Care: Dental health is a vital aspect of your pet's overall well-being. We offer dental services such as professional teeth cleaning, dental examinations, and potentially minor oral surgery to address issues like tartar buildup, gingivitis, and periodontal disease. Maintaining good oral hygiene can prevent more serious health problems in the future.

Emergency and Urgent Care: While it's best to contact us directly for immediate emergency situations to understand our specific protocols and availability, a comprehensive Pet Hospital often provides care for urgent medical needs that are not life-threatening but require prompt attention. Please note our phone number, (541) 752-5595 or +1 541-752-5595, for contacting us.

Additional Services: Depending on the specific offerings of Corvallis Veterinary Hospital, we may also provide services such as microchipping for permanent pet identification, behavioral counseling to address pet behavior issues, and end-of-life care with compassion and respect.

Dr. Gross and his team are a caring, professional, and empathetic team who I trust with my dog. They are happy to discuss any and all concerns or worries you have as a pet owner, and have helped me when my dog was injured and needed care, as well as when we had our dog neutered. They consistently go above and beyond to help us care for our dog, and have created a caring environment for their patients at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a competent and kind team to care for their beloved pet.

The staff at Corvallis Veterinary Hospital are wonderful! Dr. Gross is so good with our animals and is a very caring professional. The technicians and other staff members are very knowledgeable and are able to answer many questions without issue. All care price quotes I have received are close to actual costs. Even friends with difficult animals rave about the service. I will use this vet for as long as I live in the area.

It’s been awhile since this encounter but I think of it often and how upsetting it was. My cat unexpectedly got sick out of no where. He was fine one day, the next he was yowling in pain. I took him here and right off the bat felt unwelcome. Before even entering the back room I felt like I was being ridiculed by the front desk lady. Once we got into the back, the main doctor sat there and checked his watch every five minutes, gave my cat a load of drugs, told me my baby would be fine, but that they were closing soon, so he had to send me to the animal er. That’s where I was told almost immediately my cat wouldn’t be making it and I had to spend my final moments with him while he was high out of him mind on the drugs you loaded him up on. The vet at the emergency clinic literally apologized to me for this offices behavior without prompt. She told me that you should have prepared me for this. She told me one look at him and you should’ve known he wouldn’t be okay. You told me he would be fine and this happened all the time and that night I went home without a cat. I hope whatever was taking up your time that night was worth rushing through my kitty baby for, and that you felt some sort of remorse for it afterward. I hope you felt terrible coming into Cold Stone a month later seeing me working, you couldn’t even look me in the eyes. I vowed that night that I wouldn’t ever be bringing an animal to this vet again if I had to. The absolute hot and cold difference between the main vet at this office and the doctors at the animal er was insanity. I’ll be mad about this for years I swear.
