Cleveland Park Animal Hospital Simpsonville

I have been taking my pets here for 36 years. Dr. Clark and Dr. Paulk are wonderful with my huskies. Both of my huskies had/have very special personalities and they know just the right way to treat them. They provide age appropriate care and explain the treatments/costs. I have always received wonderful care and have been able to get appointments when needed. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They also have Saturday morning hours which is a plus.

We moved to the area back in December. My first priority was finding a great vet office for my pets! I was very pleased with our first visit! The staff at the front was very welcoming. Ashley, the vet tech, was so friendly and was really fabulous with my dog!! Dr. Duhig is very sweet and friendly as well, and even though we were only looking to get his allergy shot and anal glands taken care of, she gave him a quick check over which was very nice especially since she knew he had his wellness before moving a few months back! I also found out when I was there that they see some “exotics” as well. I have 2 rabbits so it’s great to know!! Very happy I picked Cleveland Park Animal Hospital in Simpsonville!

If you’re a POC go to the Greenville office. Simpsonville doesn’t care for our kind. I was a few mins late. Traffic was awful on Fairview. And they turned me around. And there was no one even in there. When is this little town going to change and expect the fact that POC have to live here too. But I will not spend my money in this place nor trust my dog with them. I will leave reviews on every platform about this place. My dog is near death and they canceled the appointment for a few mins. Got to make room for their kind. They come first. SMH!

I’ve been bringing my animals here (dog, cat, guinea pig) for almost 4 years. Reasons I chose Cleveland park is because they were super caring and they also were one of the only vets that see exotics (both of those reasons have significantly changed and I am explaining why below). They’ve gotten pretty expensive over the years, but I kept going because I didn’t know any better. The care also lessened over the years. For example, I brought my dog in to the Greenville location for his vaccines when he was a puppy and I explained that I wanted to only do one vaccine at a time because of his super sensitive stomach (was willing to pay for the extra visits)- the vet was super rude about this, but I held strong and he only got one vaccine and I was told it was noted in his profile that he only gets one at a time. Next visit, my husband brought him to get his vaccine and they brought him to the back room and gave him two vaccines without telling my husband until afterwards. Our dog came home and had accidents for multiple days. We then had to bring him back and pay for a second vet visit because of the diarrhea he was having and I was told it was my fault because of the food I’m feeding him (I did my research, this food was amongst one of the cleanest dog foods on the market / it was not raw food and had been feeding him this since I got him). The only reason we continued going was because of Dr. Miller (exotic vet) at the Simpsonville location because of her professionalism and the level of care she provided. She is amazing. The main reason I am writing this is because my guinea pig (who is super old) had a small emergency today. I called Cleveland Park and was told there were no exotic vets working there anymore and told me to call the place Dr. miller moved on to. It is SUPER frustrating to have an exotic animal and to find care, let along not be told that the only exotic vet left the practice. It would have been nice to know about this before I had an emergency happen.

Rachel is the very best groomer I have ever found. I would not trust my babies with anyone other than her. She goes the extra mile and takes care of my girls as if they were her own.
