We had been routinely seeing another vet, but after bloodwork and a senior panel came back clear, we noticed that the clinic in question had missed a growth on my greyhound, Link’s neck. We brought him in initially for a second opinion, but after bringing Link in, Dr. Baucom took my concerns seriously and confirmed a diagnosis of lymphoma. He was able to help make Link’s last few months comfortable, and help make arrangements when it was his time. While Link is gone now, I’m seriously and continuously impressed by the compassion and professionalism provided by Dr. Baucom and the staff at Canyon Pet Hospital.

Mar 27, 2025 · Brian GrissomI appreciate the staff but it’s super expensive. The basic exams for vaccinations are nearly double what they were at my old vet. Don’t get the app. I’ve spent over $1500 and the only thing I “earned” was a promotion for a service I don’t need. If they can afford to offer $25 when they don’t have appointment scheduled, to get people to come in, they can afford to just price exams for $25 less and keep pet owners on top of the dog care. Permanent $25 off of visits might keep business from fluctuating so much.
Apr 01, 2025 · Miss WestAlways STELLAR vet care and customer service for my 2 Goldens @ Canyon Pet Hospital with Dr Nye, Dr Abbey, & Dr Baucom & their caring staff. Been going to them for 7 years and totally trust them with my beloved pups! Hospital space is welcoming and wait time is quick and easy. Space is clean and well cared for. You can tell the staff takes pride in their environment and the job they do each day caring for animals. Excellent advice and guidance! Wouldn’t go anywhere else! ❤️
Jul 03, 2024 · Teri AllardWe have been taking our dog here since he was a puppy (about 3 years) he never had an issue coming here up until 1.5 years ago. We noticed he would get very anxious and start panting as soon as we would show up for a visit. (We thought it was normal) during our last couple visits he would have accidents in the back room and poop all over the floor, we didn’t think too much into it, just thought he really hated going to the vet. On our last visit, my wife walked him into the back room and once she handed over the leash to the vet because he wouldn’t walk with her, she noticed that one of the vet’s was dragging him across the floor, forcing him to walk. Everything started to make sense why he disliked this place so much. We started to take him to a new pet hospital and no issues, he hasn’t had any accidents and no anxiety. Never going here again. I would give them 0 stars if it allowed me.
Apr 08, 2025 · Ramon HernadezIf you're looking for a veterinary clinic that goes above and beyond in caring for your beloved pet, this place is for you! Whenever we stop by the clinic we’re greeted by warm and friendly staff who clearly have a passion for animals. What truly sets Canyon apart is the level of care and compassion displayed by the entire team. The veterinarians here are not only highly skilled professionals but also genuinely caring individuals who take the time to listen to your concerns and thoroughly explain any issues or treatment options. The clinic itself is clean and well-maintained. The pricing at is fair and transparent. Overall, I cannot recommend Canyon Pet Hospital highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and compassion— we wouldn't trust anyone else with our furry family members, Lucy and Poe.
