My dog Junior, had an accident chasing a cat in my yard. He broke one of his paws and was in a lot of pain. I called up BVD on Utrecht avenue. I was extremely concerned Junior was in a lot of pain and his poor was bleeding. The noise is he made from the pain he was in was heart ranching. When I call them up the receptionist was extremely sympathetic and sounded generally concerned about Junior's condition at that moment. She explained and even though they were booked solid to the next day that because of Junior situation they would try and squeeze him in within the next 2 hours. I went there immediately and they were able to look at him within the first half hour. The tech who came out to get him from the waiting room was extremely concerned but very confident that they were going to be able to help him and took him in the back room. 45 minutes later the veterinarian came out with Junior and explained the situation that he was in explained how to care for his cast and how to deliver his medicine. They made a follow-up visit for 3 Days later while I was there and I was able to take him home with full confidence that he was already on the mend and would come out of this 100%. Junior is a 7 year old beagle who is my best friend in the world and I feel that DVD gave him the most attention and best care that I could have offered him. I'm a very satisfied customer and recommend their services for anybody who was concerned about their pet welfare like I am.

Everyone, including the front desk staff and techs, are warm, compassionate, friendly and professional. Doctor Zaccheo listened to our concerns and immediately followed up on them, finding an impacted anal gland and expressing it efficiently. He educated us on how to best care for Artemis during her recovery and was open to our philosophy on healthcare. We even connected over an interest in animal nutrition. In the waiting room, we saw Dr. Dodd who recognized us immediately and asked after one of our other cats, Athena. I was so touched that he remembered us!

We've been to this clinic several times, it was scary to go, but the girls at the reception were extremely nice, the doctors answered all the questions, and my husband and I and the cat were satisfied! I will definitely recommend it to my friends! As for prices, everything is individual, but I am very glad that we found "our clinic" for our Leo! Thank you! 🙌🏻 Дякую❤️

Dr. Pernice is awesome. He saw Remmie on a rush basis, and even though he squeezed him in, he took the time to be as thorough and professional as always. The entire staff is always helpful and courteous. Shout out to Rosa and Brianna for their excellent and personable customer service skills.

I have been bringing all past and current dogs here since 2009. I love it here. The staff is amazing. Rob is a great technician along with the other ones. The staff who works the front desk is always super pleasant to deal with. The icing on the cake is Dr. Gambino. My dogs have been going to her as long as she has been there. She is phenomenal. She has great bedside manners. She cares about your pet and gives your pet nothing but the best care. I refuse to bring them to anyone else. I moved to SI and travel there just for her. I trust her with the care and health of my dogs.
