Brighton Park Animal Hospital

I love this place! Thanks to all the kind and diligent vet, techs and receptionists that are at the hospital and work so hard and with so much care for our pets. This hospital is amazing, the groomer is awesome and in general, the staff and all the members of BPAH are so welcoming and supportive!

I would definitely not recommend this place. It’s more like a business there!! you walk in they automatically want so much money upfront before you get seen! and then on top of that they start doing stuff and then give you the bill after a shocking price of $1200 later, after paying $500 and seeing the results that my dog was OK but had a fever. the doctor still wanted to do more stuff and keep Her . I asked him how much this would cost. He said I will let you know just go have a seat and then he calls me back and my dog is hooked up to an IV and then he brings me to a room to lets me know the shocking cost after the fact, of not communicating prices with me first!!! Run clear of this place I normally go to another vet and have three French bulldogs and I have never in my life. Have paid prices like this. Especially for the Area

Highly recommend steering clear of this place. The staff is beyond unprofessional, this establishment does absolutely nothing to attempt to lower costs that may be result of unnecessary exams and treatments. They immediately add on a list of “needed” exams and medication that most the time doesn’t even treat what’s wrong with the pet. Aside from all of this, they do not honor appointment times and have customers waiting about an hour past their appointment time.

Worse experience they did surgery for my puppy Charlie Espinoza and left him alone for 6 hours and didn’t supervised him. One of fellow teams practically snitch on himself I came in 6 hours later, he already passed away. I can’t believe this since the beginning i and my family didn’t like how dr. Ernesto Perez was being so pushy and all he cared was about the money. This was on you cuz the other fellow surgeon lady dr Kari touched her heart and knew we didn’t have the funds she helped us. But still Ernesto nos habla así como grosero en el teléfono. Culpando y diciendo I told you guys to bring him with an attitude sin compasión. When comes to this situation you should take the time before you speak. Esto indica tu carrera basada solamente en el dinero y no el amor asia los animales. Don’t bring your pets here …..

Sadly our dog started to take a turn for the worse on Labor Day weekend. He wasn’t so bad to take him to the ER and of course our Vet was closed on Sunday so I reached out on a FB dog group and someone was able to direct me to Dr. Perez. He reached out and was able to schedule an at home euthanasia (which is what I requested) for Labor Day. He was out of town but had his associate Dr. Garcia and Felipe come to our place instead. Everyone was so kind and compassionate to our situation and was very gentle with our dog. While waiting for payment and the extra services (they were able to send him out for cremation and had a clay paw print made) they reached out to make sure we were doing ok and they even sent a card with his printed paw print which is also nice to have. They never tried to rush us with payment. Picking up the ashes was easy and the receptionist Anita was also very kind and compassionate. All in all excellent service for end of live. Thank you ❤️‍🩹
