Ive been to several banfields since I began my dogs wellness plan. The progressridge banfield is the best location I've been to so far. I thought about canceling my plan because of the bad experience from other locations. However this banfield actually cares about it's patients and makes the effort to have your pets seen in a timely manner. They've seen my pets for eye cysts, belly issues, ear infections, dental cleaning, etc... my golden has no problems being seen, but my husky has a lot of anxiety. They always do their best to keep him calm. Dr knox explains the details of the visit and the staff members are all super friendly!

Welcome to Banfield Pet Hospital

Banfield Pet Hospital, located at 12305 SW Horizon Blvd Suite 213 in Beaverton, OR 97007, operates under the "Hospital" category, providing a range of veterinary services and wellness plans for pets. Online reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the service provided at this location.

One reviewer with experience at multiple Banfield locations found the Beaverton (Progressridge) branch to be the best they had encountered. They praised the hospital for genuinely caring about its patients and making efforts to ensure timely appointments. Their pets have been seen for various issues, including eye cysts, belly problems, ear infections, and dental cleanings. They noted that while their golden retriever is comfortable during visits, their husky, who experiences anxiety, is handled with care to keep him calm. The reviewer specifically mentioned Dr. Knox for clearly explaining visit details and described the entire staff as "super friendly."

Conversely, another reviewer expressed significant frustration with their experience. They reported difficulties in contacting the hospital via phone over a two-week period. This reviewer had signed up for Banfield's Optimum Wellness Plan (OWP) and felt that the advertising misrepresented the actual benefits. They claimed that while the plan suggests round-the-clock contact, their PetChat and customer service interactions were exclusively with AI, not real people. The advertised two virtual visits per year were reportedly impossible to schedule due to the inability to reach the hospital by phone. This reviewer ultimately recommended checking Trustpilot for more comprehensive reviews, indicating their dissatisfaction with the communication and the perceived value of the wellness plan.

Based on these reviews, Banfield Pet Hospital in Beaverton appears to have a caring and friendly staff, with at least one veterinarian, Dr. Knox, who communicates well with pet owners. They offer a range of services, including wellness plans and treatment for various medical conditions. However, potential clients should be aware of reported challenges in contacting the hospital via phone and the possibility that the advertised benefits of the wellness plan may not align with the actual customer experience, particularly regarding virtual consultations and customer service. It is advisable to consider these points and potentially seek additional reviews or clarification on communication protocols and the specifics of the Optimum Wellness Plan before making a decision. Banfield Pet Hospital can be contacted at (503) 521-0358 or +1 503-521-0358 for further inquiries.

I do recommend checking out trustpilot for more comprehensive reviews but here is mine. They're impossible to contact, I've never been able to successfully call them over the past two weeks. I signed up for their OWP and they really push the limits of their advertisement to make it seem better than it actually is. They make it seem like you can contact them at any time, but their petchat and customer service is all AI...it isn't even real people. you have 2 virtual visits per year, but it is impossible to schedule because it has to be scheduled through the hospital, and they never pick up the phone, so this is some kind of feature you don't actually get to use.

Every time we need to bring our dog in or pick up his medications, we go in within their hours of operation and they always seem to have their doors locked and nobody up front by 4pm when they are supposed to be open until 6pm. Staff has not been very friendly whenever we have been able to get an appointment. Nobody ever answers the phone when calling within the hours of operation. Anytime we get there (when they are actually open) we have to wait up front at LEAST 30 minutes before being seen/helped because nobody is up front for check in or anything. This location specifically has given us so many issues, will be transferring our dog elsewhere

The only reason for the one star is because the staff was friendly and bc of the many offices it was convenient. However I will never recommend Banfield again, due to the thousands of dollars I spent on my dog because they told me for over 4 years of going to them that my dog had yeast infections in both his ears. With the diagnosis, I bought the treatments of pills and ear washes, trusting that the trained professionals were telling me the truth. Irrated that nothing was fixing/helping the problem I sought out a second opinion. I am so incredibly thankful that I did because I found out that there was no yeast infection to be had instead two different cultures in his ears, went home with a different medicine for his ears, which were cleared up in about two weeks and haven't had any issues since.

Ive only taken my kitten for appointments at this location for his last two appointments and they have the same level of friendliness and great service as any other Banfield. Little Dijon is always in great hands with them! Sure, I may be a little biased because they called my kitten one of the sweetest BUT I think that only proves my point that they really pay attention and care for their furry clients! My handsome guy is healthy and has been for his 4 years thanks to Banfield!
