My puppy received most of his vaccines and was neutered here before turning one. My pup seems to be thriving and enjoying life despite the subpar customer service experienced here. I've experienced multiple issues with Banfield that have left me dissatisfied. Despite their posted hours, they closed early when I rushed there after work. When I inquired, staff cited staffing issues, which didn't address my frustration. While using their services through my puppy's insurance, I felt the care was subpar. Exams were consistently conducted out of my presence, and the doctor only communicated with me via phone afterward. The clinic seemed understaffed, and communication was inconsistent, with critical details often Front desk staff, Brownwyn provided me with incorrect information on vaccines and failed to take responsibility. Despite requesting a manager's call, Kasey never followed up. When I finally spoke with Kasey, Kasey was defensive and condescending, lacking the professionalism and empathy I expected. Overall, I was disappointed with the service and communication here. Although I did receive an apology from a doctor (after several complaints I made through Banefeild corporation), I will not be returning and cannot recommend Banfield due to their poor customer service and unprofessionalism.

Welcome to Banfield Pet Hospital

Welcome, local pet owners, to an in-depth introduction to Banfield Pet Hospital, a well-known name in veterinary care now serving your community. Operating under the platform category of "Pet Hospital," Banfield offers a wide array of services and products dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of your cherished animal companions. Located at 3101 Market Center Drive, Morrisville, NC 27560, USA, Banfield Pet Hospital is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive veterinary care. You can reach them at (919) 380-7387 or +1 919-380-7387 for inquiries or to schedule an appointment.

Understanding the environment of a pet hospital is crucial for pet owners. Banfield Pet Hospital aims to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both pets and their owners. While specific details about the Morrisville clinic's ambiance are not provided in the reviews, it is generally expected that a professional pet hospital environment would include clean and well-maintained examination rooms, comfortable waiting areas, and necessary medical equipment to diagnose and treat various pet health issues. The focus is typically on creating a space that minimizes stress for animals while ensuring efficiency for the veterinary staff.

Banfield Pet Hospital offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services to cater to the diverse needs of pets. Based on the provided reviews, core services include routine vaccinations and surgical procedures such as neutering. One customer mentioned their puppy receiving most of its vaccinations and being neutered at Banfield before the age of one, indicating their capability in providing essential early-life care. Furthermore, the mention of a "skin allergy specialist" within the Banfield network suggests that they also offer specialized services, potentially including dermatology and the treatment of various skin conditions. This highlights Banfield's capacity to address both general wellness and more specific health concerns.

A significant feature mentioned in the customer reviews is the availability of a "pet plan." This suggests that Banfield offers wellness plans or insurance options designed to make veterinary care more affordable and accessible, especially for pets with recurring health issues. One reviewer explicitly stated that the "pet plan is so worth it, especially if your pet has recurring issues that need attention." They also found the vaccine plan to be valuable, effectively providing "free" visits alongside the cost of vaccinations. These pet plans are designed to promote preventative care and facilitate regular check-ups, contributing to the long-term health of your pets.

However, it is essential to provide a balanced perspective by also considering the less positive feedback from some customers. One reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the overall customer service experienced at the Morrisville location. Specific issues raised include instances of the clinic closing early despite their posted hours due to staffing issues, which caused inconvenience and frustration. The reviewer also felt that the quality of care was "subpar" while using their puppy's insurance. A significant concern was the lack of in-person communication during examinations, with the doctor only providing updates via phone afterward. This lack of direct interaction can be a concern for pet owners who prefer to be present during their pet's examination and discuss findings directly with the veterinarian.

Furthermore, the same reviewer highlighted issues with inconsistent communication and instances of critical details being missed. A specific incident involved front desk staff providing incorrect information about vaccines and failing to take responsibility for the error. The lack of follow-up from a requested manager further compounded the negative experience, with the eventual interaction being described as "defensive and condescending," lacking professionalism and empathy. While the reviewer did receive an apology from a doctor after escalating the complaints, the overall experience left them unwilling to return or recommend Banfield due to poor customer service and unprofessionalism.

On a more positive note, another customer shared a consistently positive experience with Banfield, particularly praising the skin allergy specialist who significantly improved their dog's skin condition and quality of life. This positive feedback underscores the potential for excellent specialized care within the Banfield network. The same reviewer also reiterated the value of the pet plan, especially for pets with ongoing health needs.

Considering these varied experiences, it's important for local users to weigh the potential benefits of Banfield Pet Hospital, such as comprehensive services, wellness plans, and specialized care, against the reported inconsistencies in customer service and communication at the Morrisville location. While some customers have had positive experiences with the quality of medical care and the value of the pet plans, others have been significantly disappointed by the customer service and communication aspects.

As a Pet Hospital platform offering corresponding services and goods, Banfield likely provides a range of products related to pet health, such as prescription medications, preventative treatments (flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives), and potentially some over-the-counter pet care items. The availability of these goods can be a convenient aspect for pet owners seeking a one-stop solution for their pet care needs.

In conclusion, Banfield Pet Hospital in Morrisville, NC, offers a broad spectrum of veterinary services, including routine care, surgical procedures, and specialized treatments like dermatology. Their pet wellness plans can provide significant value, especially for pets with chronic conditions or those requiring regular preventative care. However, based on recent customer feedback, there appear to be inconsistencies in customer service and communication at this specific location. Local users are encouraged to consider these factors when making decisions about their pet's veterinary care and perhaps inquire further about current service standards and communication protocols when contacting the clinic. It is always advisable to have a clear understanding of the hospital's policies and procedures to ensure a positive and stress-free experience for both you and your beloved pet.

Banfield always seems to take good care of my pups. I even found a vet at one that's a skin allergy specialist. She saved my poor dogs skin and quality of life. The pet plan is so worth it, especially if your pet has recurring issues that need attention. I feel like the vaccine plan in it, is about worth what you pay, and still get "free" visits.

My family and I rescued this sweet pup on very short notice. She had worms and ring worm. She hadn't had any of her shots and was so dirty. We brought her home and immediately called Banfield because I had heard about their wellness plans and wanted to know more. They got me in the very next day. Everyone we encountered was extremely kind and professional. I never felt rushed. And they actual listened to my concerns and questions. I highly recommend them and their plans.

My wife and I have exclusively used this Banfield/petsMart for all of our pet needs, and they have been incredible. this review is in no way a rating of our overall experience with this facility, rather a review for one specific person from this morning. My wife brought our 4 month old Corgi (Boone) to them to get a nail trimming. Because of his age, we are unable to utilize the groomer due to not being fully vaccinated yet. My wife left the appointment, calling me in literal tears, due to the lack of professionalism by Melanie, who was assigned to his nail trimming. evidently our pup was not on his "best behavior" for the duration of the trimming- which is frustrating (understandably), but is also not very shocking due to his age. instead of just informing my wife that he was a little difficult, she instead chose to show her frustration with unprofessional demeanor and comments, while also essentially accusing my wife of not being more disciplined with his behavior at home. I completely understand the frustration of dealing with an anxious puppy when you're trying to work, but ultimately that is your Job, as well as providing a friendly and professional customer experience. Melanie, please be more mindful of concealing your blatant frustration, next time youre speaking with customers. ***side note: Im not exactly sure what her name was the lady at the front desk (Rowan, mayne?) was incredible. friendly and helpful, and certainly deserves positive recognition.

Very unprofessional staff in Morrisville location. I made my appt 3 weeks in advance but I was informed a day before that it wasn’t in person appt. They don’t have many in person appointments. You will never be able to take your pet there in emergency or for wellness check ups unless you want to drop your pet off there. Go to Witherspoon location instead. Love everyone there!!
