I honestly wouldn’t suggest this vet to anyone. My dog was taken here for not eating which turned out to be liver problems but this vet just suggested buying meds for $500 which didn’t fix anything. Basically a bandaid over a bullet hole. The problem was the meds didn’t work and my dog was needed to be put down. Honestly the veterinarian should have made the decision of putting the dog down sooner so it wouldn’t be in so much pain and misery instead of pushing $500 in medication that did not do anything. Now I’m paying $500 to put my dog down cause he’s in so much pain and an additional $500 if I want him cremated.

I like the Long Beach Banfield. I transferred over from another location. I found there are more people working the front desk. Then they have the back staff that comes out to get the furkids. So far everyone has been very helpful and friendly.

Had one of the nicest and most stress free visits to the vet today thanks to vet tech Joyce! She was so sweet and patient with my 3 dogs that needed so many different things each. She listened to everything I told her, and proactively called me to check in and let me know how my dogs were. She even went above and beyond to make sure my bratty overly spoiled blind dog received all the services that she needed when I wasn’t able to remember everything she was due for. She is such a wonderful person to trust your dogs care with. The staff in this place are always so great and compassionate as well. Great place to bring your fur babies.

I found Banfield when my cat almost died. That was more than 10 years ago. Not only did they save her then, they are the reason she is still alive and 1 month from her 19th birthday. They are the only people I trust my fur babies to and are worth every penny.
