Banfield Pet Hospital

I brought my male boxer in for a complimentary first free check-up. Unfortunately my boxer was in very bad shape when Gunner was checked out.. Gunner had a very low blood cell count and a higher than normal heart rate. The vet doctor told me that Gunner was in such bad shape that she couldn't give Gunner necessary shots.. Anyway , I lost Gunner on 9/11 and we really miss him. The problem is , I have a one year contract with Banfield Pet Hospital and I haven't made my first payment.. I will come back to this review if they cancel my contract for $55 a month.

This specific Banfield deserves more than the 5 stars that Google suggests. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful when you first get to the reception area, and then when they put you into the appointment room. You get a chance to meet the nurses and the doctors which makes it more personal. They are transparent about estimates and will work with what you can afford. My pup has bad allergies and has frequent digestive issues so it can get quite costly, but with their suggestions he’s finally at a maintenance level and I’m glad we finally have it under control. Sometimes if they need more time with him when he’s sick they’ll ask him to drop-off which I’m fine with, I know he’s getting great care because he always resolves afterwards, so if you need to drop-off don’t worry, they will call and give you updates too. They will try their best to get you in same day as a waiter appointment too. It’s one, if not, the best location I have been to so no wonder they are almost always booked, so definitely plan ahead. Great people all around, you can tell that everybody there cares about your pet’s wellbeing. Very happy with Jupiter.

I brought my dog here for an emergency X-ray and the staff were so helpful! My dog woke up with sudden symptoms I was not familiar with- Dr K was incredibly knowledgeable in explaining what the symptoms could mean. Dr. K along with her tech Kalie were patient and kind with me when explaining the results of the Xrays and my next steps. Were the prices higher than I were prepared for? Yes, but the love for my dog and the exceptional service I had was 100% worth it. Extra shout out to the manager Joey for being kind to me as well. Love this place!!

For years, I have been impressed time and time again with kindness, heart, and professionalism from the staff at Banfield Jupiter. They know my dogs by name, genuinely seem to care when they call to check in on them after an appointment, and even know who their cousins are (my moms dogs). Recently, I had an emergency situation with my German Shepherd, who is 14 years old and I was, yet again, impressed beyond compare. I was a little terrified with what happened, and Dr. Kinnebrew took one look at me and gave me a huge hug (and even cleaned the blood off my shirt - never knew hydrogen peroxide worked so well - lol). The entire staff and the manager went above and beyond to help me get appointments for her quickly and even pivoted last moment when things took a quick turn. Thanks to the whole staff and the great team at MedVet Jupiter, my old girl is chilling in her bed ready to heal up. It is rare that you find a group of people so dedicated and passionate about their jobs. We have been devoted to the Banfield team for many years and will continue to be loyal patients for all of our dogs to come. Thank you guys for all that you do!

If I could give zero I would. The store is filthy. They gave my dog a vaccine he wasn’t even supposed to get because he was too young and I was unaware and they still vaccinated him. I bought him to the groomer there also and he was violently sick for four days afterwards But I had to bring him to another vet for him to get treatment because I didn’t feel safe, bringing him back to Banfield. I also found it very weird how they never did anything with my dog in the room. They always took him in the back to do everything and then they would say to drop him off for Shots and I would think it was a quick appointment because it’s just for shots and they would tell me no it’s a drop off and try to keep him for hours on end very unprofessional. The staff is very rude , if you wanna keep your pets see if I would advise not to bring to Jupiter Banfield. I’m now back at Gardens animal hospital with their lovely staff.
