Banfield Pet Hospital

So this location has aggravated me on multiple occasions. First off, the first time I dropped my dog off for a visit he came home with a large gouge/chunk on his shoulder blade that is now a scar. Ever since that appointment I’ve always called the desk to set up future appointments to ensure that I scheduled an in room visit. 2 out of the 3 visits since when I’ve showed up they told me at the front desk that they were only doing drop off appointments that day and I would have to leave him there. That was irritating but not world ending, I get it front desk mix ups happen. But tonight was the final straw. I called this afternoon to set up an emergency appointment because my dog was heavily limping and his foot was swollen like a balloon, well they told me on the phone when I called that I could not be seen tonight because the doctor on site went home early today. Luckily the Banfield location down the street at the PetSmart was able to take us in and get x-rays and I’m glad I didn’t wait because he had in fact broken his foot. Once my Optimum wellness plan is up for the year I will 100% be switching locations on that plan.

This is where I take my dogs for their annual visits and anything else that they might need. I went 3 days ago to put my Riley down he was old and not doing well. They showed so much compassion and care. I am just waiting for my baby ashes.

Banfield really came through when my little girl got into a fight and her face was all torn up. For whatever reason on that particular day I couldn't get her in for an emergency appointment anywhere near me, so I called the Altamonte location who told me Heathrow had one appointment. When we got there everyone was so nice, and I felt like there was zero judgement. Honestly I was a little afraid of that due to her being a bully breed but they immediately took her back and got her all fixed up. A few hours later I was able to take her home. They even gave her a certificate of bravery which just about made me cry, it was so cute with her little paw print on it. When we go in there everyone is always so nice and the appointments go quickly. Her face is just about all healed up, the fur just needs to grow back but I really think they did a great job. The wellness plan was a huge help because all of her follow up appointments are covered. Emergency surgery, meds, and wellness plan all came to just under $1400 which is really no higher than what I've seen elsewhere.

Dr.Trompeta was extremely helpful and thorough. We brought our new baby kittys in for there first Dr visit and we are so glad we choose you all. From the moment we walked in the building we were met with courteous, smiling associates behind the counter. We were checked in quickly with minimal wait and the waiting room was so clean and organized. They even have a children’s area with Dr white coats and toys to play with. All the Vet Technicians we met were extremely knowledgeable and explained everything is great details and never rushed us at all. We even were able to sign our pets up for your wellness plan due to great information given to us on how to maximize our savings over the next year. We always brought our dog to Banfield ever since our dog was a pup. As she aged, she needed more care and each time we brought her to Banfield, we had a good experience. Finally, we made the tough decision of putting Luna to rest and Dr. Kaufman was very compassionate and super nice throughout the process. She even speaks Spanish which made it easier for my family to understand what was going to happen. All the staff at this vet’s office is very nice and I would recommend them to anyone.
