Banfield Pet Hospital

My dog has been with Banfield for 11 years, during which time we have received knowledge and good veterinarian service. In June 2024, my dog developed a noncurable illness called tracheal collapse. Dr. Samuel, the vet, and Jeslean, the assistant to the vet, have provided me with excellent advice and prescriptions so that my dog can continue to enjoy the quality of life.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never left a negative review in my 35 years of living but this was such a horrible experience. My puppy got vaccinated today and all I heard was him screaming at the top of his lungs from the other room. When I asked what was going on because I was obviously worried the tech responded with “Train your dog he bit me” ( he is 4 months old). I asked the vet what was going on he stormed off and said I don’t have time to answer you. I paid almost $300 for this experience. Management needs to do better. Please train your employees to be empathetic and react to stressful situations in a professional manner. I left unsure if my puppy was harmed and when I asked what happened no explanation was given. I understand shots hurt puppies but I don’t understand why he was yelling at the top of his lungs for a long period of time. It just isn’t right. Get the owner involved when the dog is beginning difficult. Don’t just have 3 people hold him down and be rough. People shouldn’t pay for such unprofessional behavior.

This is the worst Animal hospital! I try to take my dog there twice because he was sick and they rejected once because we arrive 30 min before they closed and the second one because they didn’t accepts walks in, even if your Dog is sick, they don’t show any empathy and help! This is the worst animal hospital!!!

Money hungry vets pretty much all they are. My dog came in with an ear infection and i was charged $300 for the swab / visit / medication. Fast forward 2 weeks, still the same ear infection but now i need to pay AGAIN for more ear swabs / visits and potentially a new medication. Ultimately, i was told i paid the $300 last visit to confirm my dog indeed did have an ear infection… Thanks for the reassurance, anyone with common sense would’ve diagnosed him prior 🤦🏻‍♂️

Overbooked and weren't able to see my dog for an hour beyond the scheduled time.
