The hydrotherapy was such a wonderful experience! We didn’t know what to expect but we were blown away with the attentiveness and kindness shown to our Sherlock from the techs that worked with him. We especially appreciated Hannah who recognized that Sherlock absolutely despised getting in the tank and physically supported him by going in the tank herself. Watching him improve and return to his pre-injury self has been the biggest reward. Thank you for your tenderness!

Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center Introduce

Welcome to Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center, a comprehensive pet hospital located in O'Fallon, Missouri, dedicated to providing a wide spectrum of veterinary services with a particular focus on rehabilitation therapies. Situated at 957 Waterbury Falls Dr, O'Fallon, MO 63368, our facility is designed to cater to the diverse healthcare needs of your beloved animal companions, from routine wellness to specialized recovery programs.

As a pet hospital with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation, Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center offers a unique approach to animal care. While specific details about the hospital's environment are not fully elucidated in the provided reviews, it is reasonable to expect a facility equipped not only for general veterinary examinations and treatments but also with specialized areas and equipment for rehabilitation therapies. This likely includes dedicated spaces for physical therapy exercises and the hydrotherapy tank mentioned in one of the reviews. The presence of such specialized equipment indicates a commitment to providing comprehensive care that extends beyond traditional veterinary medicine.

One of the standout features of Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center, as highlighted by a customer, is their hydrotherapy service. This review describes a "wonderful experience" and praises the "attentiveness and kindness shown to our Sherlock from the techs that worked with him." The reviewer specifically commends Hannah, a technician who went above and beyond by physically supporting the pet in the tank, demonstrating a high level of dedication and empathy. Hydrotherapy, which involves using water for therapeutic purposes, can be incredibly beneficial for pets recovering from injuries, surgeries, or suffering from conditions like arthritis. The buoyancy of water reduces stress on joints, allowing for low-impact exercise that can improve strength, mobility, and reduce pain. This positive feedback underscores the hospital's commitment to offering advanced rehabilitation modalities.

The same review also emphasizes the positive outcomes of the rehabilitation process, noting that Sherlock was able to "improve and return to his pre-injury self," highlighting the effectiveness of the therapies offered at Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center. This focus on restoring pets to their optimal physical condition is a key differentiator and a significant benefit for pet owners seeking comprehensive post-injury or post-surgical care.

However, it is important to consider all feedback to provide an objective overview. Another customer shared a less positive experience, stating that despite a "great staff," they felt the hospital did not live up to its 4.9 rating. This review mentions a missed ear infection in their puppy, which was later discovered by a groomer. Upon returning to the vet, the infection was described as severe. The reviewer also noted receiving a lecture about ear hair removal and experienced issues with receiving a rabies certificate and a receipt for a $280 payment, ultimately deciding to seek veterinary care elsewhere for their three dogs.

This negative review raises concerns about diagnostic accuracy, communication, and administrative processes. While the positive review highlights the excellent rehabilitation services and compassionate staff, the negative feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in general veterinary care and customer service. It is crucial for prospective clients to be aware of both positive and negative experiences to make an informed decision.

Based on the available information, Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center offers specialized rehabilitation services, including hydrotherapy, with a team that, in some instances, demonstrates exceptional care and attentiveness. However, there is also an indication that standard veterinary diagnostics and administrative procedures may not always meet expectations. It is important to note that online ratings can be subjective and individual experiences can vary.

Given the limited scope of information, it is not possible to provide a comprehensive list of all services offered at Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center. However, in addition to rehabilitation services like hydrotherapy and potentially other physical therapy modalities, a veterinary hospital typically offers general medical care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and treatment for illnesses and injuries. Depending on their capabilities, they may also offer surgical services, dental care, and diagnostic imaging.

Similarly, the provided reviews do not mention any specific features of the hospital beyond the rehabilitation focus and the staff's demeanor. A rehabilitation-focused veterinary hospital might have specialized equipment for physical therapy, underwater treadmills for hydrotherapy, and a team of veterinarians and therapists with specific training in animal rehabilitation. The environment would likely be designed to facilitate movement and recovery for animals with mobility issues.

There is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special programs at Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center. To learn about any current promotions or introductory offers for new clients, it would be best to contact the hospital directly via phone at (636) 477-6740 or +1 636-477-6740.

In conclusion, Back on Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center in O'Fallon, MO, appears to be a pet hospital that offers valuable rehabilitation services, including hydrotherapy, with a team that can be highly compassionate and attentive, particularly in the rehabilitation setting. However, potential clients should also be aware of the concerns raised in another review regarding diagnostic accuracy and administrative processes. It is advisable to contact the hospital directly to inquire about their full range of services, the qualifications of their staff, and their protocols for general veterinary care to determine if they are the right fit for your pet's needs.

Great staff but I found that they just aren’t up to their 4.9 rating. I feel that they missed things that should have been noticed. My pup had an infection in her ear that they missed and 3 days later my groomer found a problem in her ear . Next day I went back to vet and my pup had the worst ear infection that the Dr had ever seen in a pup her age. Then I was lectured about how pulling out ear hair causes and irritates infections. When I left I had to return to get her rabies certificate as none was provided nor a receipt for the $280 I had just paid them. All in all, I’ve decided to pick a different vet for my 3 dogs.

After having a not so great experience at different vet with my new puppy I was nervous about taking him to another vet. Back On Track listened to my concerns and took great care of my little guy. They made sure my dog was comfortable and made sure to explain everything they were doing. Great staff and prices! We definitely will be using them from now on.

Everyone at Back On Track is so nice , The Doctors and nurses actually listen and provide answers . Most importantly, they do not push vaccines on you. They do every 3 years and only vaccines that are needed . They do not even blink an eye when I tell them that I feed raw to my dogs . They treat my dogs so good .

Dr. Witten has a great rapport with my very large, very vocal rottweiler, Zeus. She and the staff are very qualified and comfortable around such a large dog. I recommend Back On Track Veterinary Hospital to everyone. Sincerely, Jay Hammond & Zeus
