Had to spay my cat and yes unfortunately they don’t answer phone calls for appointments. I’m sure they get too many calls and too many people at the office trying to obtain one. FOR THOSE TRYING TO GET AN APPOINTMENT - The best thing you can do is go into the office EARLY in the morning Tuesday-Fri. I suggest you’re there a bit before 8:30AM since other people will line up for the same thing. APPOINTMENTS ARE LIMITED, they might not have any more slots available after a few people, in that case you’d probably have to come back again on the next morning. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I gave it 4 stars only because realistically we can’t book through the phone but I do understand they’re probably very busy. This is just my experience here.

The ASPCA should be ashamed of themselves. I'm disabled & living on low income. I have a sick elderly cat, & I can't get any help from the ASPCA. The Brooklyn ASPCA will not see me because I don't live in the zip code their clinic is located at. How does the ASPCA limit residents in Brooklyn according to a zip code,? I remember in the 70's & 80's when the ASPCA was located on State Street in downtown Brooklyn. Anyone from anywhere can come in & adopt & get animal health care. Now the ASPCA is willing to help only a handful of people, yet they often air commercials asking for donations. Why should anyone donate to an Organization that only wants to help a handful of people? I have called the ASPCA relentlessly since last week Friday March 7th 2025, & all I received is a recording saying that their appointments are all booked and they have no appointments available. It's March 12,2025 & I am praying that I can find a low cost clinic that I can afford that will see my fur baby Tom.

I have been trying to get an appointment for the past two years but to no avail. It's unfortunate that for a facility who's supposed to help the less fortune can never find an appointment. The schedule is always booked and they're not accepting any more appointments.

I really don’t know where to start. From the moment we came in we were greeted with warmth. Our cat Scimmi had a blockage and the urgency to get him the care he needed was at full speed. I, of course was an absolute mess because of the prices we were getting at the hospitals and vets, I thought we didn’t have a chance to save our guy.. but I thought wrong. Dr powers was patient and kind with frequent updates with what was going on in surgery gave us a sense of relief. ASPCA Brooklyn team has saved Scimmi and I couldn’t have been more grateful for who was working. Staff is beyond 5 stars and if I could give them the entire constellation I would. There is nothing worse than feeling hopeless when you don’t have the finances to get the right treatment and care to save our loved ones. Thank you x1000 my heart is full.

I was very disappointed with this company. I would expect it to give full veterinary service however all it gives is shots. If you require blood work or any kind of medical service it's not provided. In addition you have to be on some sort of governmental program to qualify for their service (food stamps, rent assistance, etc). My GOODNESS this is the ASPCA founded to help pets. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE REJECTION DUE TO THIS RESTRICTION NONSENSE. After all I am a tax paying citizen.
