I can't thank Heather and the team at Animal Specialty & Emergency Hospital enough for their incredible support during the most difficult moment of my life.💔My 13-year-old dog, Chloe, had been diagnosed with a brain tumor months prior and started having cluster seizures that night she was unfortunately declining, and the decision to say goodbye was a heart-wrenching one but I knew it was time. Heather was so compassionate, walking me through the entire process with empathy and kindness. She listened to my stories about Chloe, let me cry my heart out and even surprised me with a nose print after I mentioned I never had the chance to get one. That small gesture meant EVERYTHING to me🥹 The vet who performed the euthanasia was equally kind and sympathetic asking me about Chloe and the how I got her. They both made this extremely painful experience a little easier, and I’m forever grateful for their care.🐾🖤

Feb 12, 2025 · Jessica FrimowitzIf I could possibly have given more stars than just five, I certainly would have done so. This place is absolutely amazing!! Everyone one there is just so professional, courteous and very welcoming! Dr. Smith is just above and beyond what I was expecting from a vet internist. He superceded my expectations of a true professional. He took his time to thoroughly go over our elderly dog's situation which put my husband and me, so at ease. Dr. Smith is extremely knowledgeable! He has the best bedside manners and takes his time explaining all the scenarios involved. Just so empathetic as well. I am so grateful that this clinic and Dr. Smith were recomended to us. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Smith to anyone facing medical issues with their beloved pets. You will not be disappointed! Iris Cruz- for Taz Cruz
Mar 27, 2025 · Iris CruzJust got back from the Animal Specialty and Emergency Hospital, and I couldn’t be more grateful. They took such wonderful care of my dog and her puppy during a really stressful time. From the moment we walked in, everyone—from the front desk staff to the assistant and the doctor—was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. We were so worried, but they helped us understand what was going on and truly put our minds at ease. Thank you all for the compassion and care you showed our little family—it meant the world to us.
Apr 14, 2025 · James TurnerOur 1 year old Rottweiler ingested my fathers medications and was severely lethargic and our family immediately rushed him in. We were greeted with a stretcher and friendly and welcoming attitudes! Dr.McGrath and Heather were amazing and were a tremendous help getting him feeling better and on the right track! Checking his vitals and giving him fluids was smooth with Heather, her friendly and personable personality are infectious and calmed us down! Highly recommend for any pet emergency!
Apr 13, 2025 · Edward JohnsonWarning!! Do not recommend ESPECIALLY for an emergency‼️ (But that’s what they are there for right?) What a joke! I guess that we should have read the other terrible reviews! The front office staff gets an A+ for their kindness. The Dr. on the other hand was completely ignorant! Here’s our story: We brought our dog in for an emergency visit due to vomiting and diarrhea for weeks on. (We went to another Dr. who did absolutely nothing and sent us on our way, but at this point an ER visit was necessary after this mornings mess our pup left) So anyways, the Dr. did a blood test and X-rays to look for a blockage. He came back and said he “thinks” there might be a blockage but now it’s time to send the X-rays to a radiologist! That will be another $250 on top of the $950 we just signed for! Assuming we would get answers from the Dr. after the X-rays were taken! The Dr. couldn’t work a computer to show us the X-rays, my husband had to show him how to use his computer. That’s not the end of it, he claimed immediately after he received the results of the X-rays that we would start surgery! There was NO WAY we were letting that man put a scalpel to our loving family member. We ended up going elsewhere and we were told some pretty scary news and now our pup is getting the emergency surgery from a well educated veterinarian, who we feel comfortable with.
