I wish I could give this place zero stars. Horrible. Unprofessional. My cat barely survived from a ROUTINE SPAY! Never had such a horrible experience. 7 years ago and I will never forget. TAKE YOUR ANIMAL ANYWHERE ELSE PLEASE!!!

Welcome to Animal Hospital

Welcome to Animal Hospital, located at 9961 Rhea County Hwy, Dayton, TN 37321. As a local Pet Hospital, we aim to provide veterinary care services to the residents of Dayton and the surrounding areas. We understand that your pets are important members of your family, and we strive to offer services that address their health needs. Based on available customer reviews, experiences at Animal Hospital appear to vary significantly, and we encourage potential clients to consider all perspectives when making decisions about their pet's care.

Information regarding the specific environment of Animal Hospital is not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, a Pet Hospital environment includes a reception area for clients and their pets, examination rooms where veterinarians can assess animals, and potentially surgical suites and recovery areas for procedures. The overall atmosphere can influence a pet owner's comfort level, and while one review describes a "great place," another recounts a "horrible" and "unprofessional" experience, suggesting that individual perceptions of the environment and service may differ.

The services offered at Animal Hospital, as indicated by the reviews, include routine procedures such as spaying. One customer reported a severely negative outcome associated with a routine spay performed seven years prior, describing it as a near-fatal experience for their cat and strongly advising others to seek veterinary care elsewhere. This account raises significant concerns regarding the standards of care and professionalism perceived by at least one client during that time.

In contrast, another long-term client expresses strong satisfaction with the care provided by "Dr. T" (referred to later as "Dictor Taylor" and "Dr. Taylor"). This reviewer states they have been bringing their animals to Animal Hospital since their teenage years and, now at age 58, has "never had any troubles" with Dr. Taylor's care. They describe Dr. Taylor as "the best," kind to animals, caring, and someone who does not "gouge people on prices," suggesting affordability as a potential feature of the clinic under Dr. Taylor's care.

The conflicting nature of these reviews makes it challenging to definitively characterize the services and features of Animal Hospital. One perspective highlights a potentially severe lapse in care during a routine procedure, while the other praises the kindness, expertise, and affordability associated with a specific veterinarian, Dr. Taylor, over a long period. It is important for potential clients to weigh these contrasting experiences.

Features of Animal Hospital, based on the positive review, may include the presence of an experienced and caring veterinarian, Dr. Taylor, who is perceived as kind to animals and fair in pricing. The long-term loyalty of one client suggests a consistent level of satisfactory care provided by Dr. Taylor over several decades. The ability to retain clients for such an extended period can indicate a level of trust and satisfaction among at least a portion of the clientele.

However, the negative review points to a potential lack of professionalism and a severely adverse outcome from a routine surgical procedure, raising serious concerns about the overall standards and consistency of care at the hospital. The stark contrast between these two experiences underscores the importance of seeking comprehensive and up-to-date information when choosing a veterinary care provider.

No specific promotional information is provided in the given reviews. Typically, a Pet Hospital might offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal promotions on certain services like vaccinations or parasite prevention, or package deals for routine care. However, based solely on the provided text, there is no indication of any such promotional activities at Animal Hospital.

Given the limited and contradictory nature of the available information, it is crucial for potential clients to conduct further research and potentially visit Animal Hospital to assess the environment and interact with the staff. Inquiring about the qualifications and experience of the veterinarians, the protocols and safety measures in place for surgical procedures, and seeking more recent testimonials could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the current standards of care.

It is also advisable to ask about the range of services offered, which typically includes routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostic services (such as blood work and imaging), and medical and surgical treatments. Understanding the full scope of services available can help pet owners determine if Animal Hospital meets their specific needs.

In conclusion, Animal Hospital in Dayton, TN, presents a complex picture based on the limited reviews available. While one long-term client speaks highly of Dr. Taylor's kindness, expertise, and affordable pricing, another recounts a severely negative experience with a routine spay that occurred seven years prior. This significant discrepancy highlights the potential for varied experiences at this Pet Hospital. Potential clients are strongly encouraged to consider both perspectives, conduct their own thorough research, and seek current information to make an informed decision about their pet's veterinary care. Contacting Animal Hospital directly at (423) 775-4003 or +1 423-775-4003 to inquire about their services, staff qualifications, and current practices is highly recommended.

I had an emergency with my german shepherd that required surgery. Dr. Taylor was so wonderful and caring. Took him right in and he’s doing very well now. Thank you Dr. Taylor and the girls at the front desk! You’re awesome!🐾

They have been taking care of our fur babies for years now. I tried another clinic and I was not happy with them at all they actually hurt my fur baby instead of helping. So I came back to this clinic and I wish I never left in the first place but they are amazing.
