Excellent care. Dr. Berdoulay did cataract surgery on Bubba many years ago. He was 14 and blind. He lived 2 more quality years. When I rescued again, Lionel, I knew I needed animal eye care again. Lionel is now being successfully treated for dry eyes. It is worth going to a specialist.

The services offered at Animal Eye Care Associates are centered around maintaining and improving your pet's vision. Based on the provided customer reviews, the clinic has demonstrated expertise in several key areas:

Cataract Surgery: One of the notable services mentioned is cataract surgery. Cataracts, a clouding of the lens, can significantly impair vision in animals. This highlights the clinic's capability in handling complex surgical procedures to improve a pet's quality of life.

Dry Eye Treatment: Another service highlighted in the reviews is the successful treatment of dry eyes in a dog named Lionel. Dry eye, or keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), is a common condition in animals where the tear glands do not produce enough lubrication for the eyes. This can lead to discomfort, inflammation, and potential vision problems if left untreated. Animal Eye Care Associates offers effective treatments to manage this condition and provide relief to affected pets.

Eyelid Surgery: The removal of a blocked oil gland from a dog's eyelid is also mentioned. This indicates that the clinic provides surgical interventions for various eyelid issues. Blocked oil glands can cause discomfort, swelling, and potential infections. The successful removal suggests the clinic's proficiency in addressing these types of localized eye problems.

I took my dog here for an eye exam. I adopted her from a shelter several months ago and observed her walking into things. After my vet provided the referral, I scheduled her appointment at Animal Eye Care. The staff was very friendly, informative, and quick. The facility was clean and organized. The doctor was patient and explain things thoroughly. It was a very enjoyable experience although I found out my dog has a genetic disorder and eventually will go blind. I'm so glad I know her medical status and can take the steps to help my dog as she progresses through life馃挀

It's actually in the back of the peninsula animal care complex. There's no sign. Well, there's a sign that is inside the door that is the size of a desk nameplate... Not really a sign when you are trying to follow Google directions.
