Animal Clinic of Hollis Court

I’ve been going to this vet for awhile now and have met some sweetest people here. One of my animals needed surgery and I was starting to lose hope until I met Dr. Zahran. She couldn’t eat anything, had a fever of 105, and could barley move. The surgery went great and Dr. Zahran provided us with the medicine needed. She is back at home now and better then ever!

I have been taking my fur babies to Dr Z for over 17 years. He and his staff has always treated my fur babies with kindness, care, and concern. I have used this clinic for everything from vaccinations to repairing ACLs, ear infections, spading, unfortunately euthanizing, and many other issues thru the years with 3 different dogs. I was always able to call for advice whenever I needed it. Love Dr Z, his team, and this place.

Dr. WZ has been fined and has a 2 year stayed suspension for prior negligence. I wish I knew sooner because he does not operate within reasonable care expected of a licensed professional and this misery could've been avoided. This clinic is unorganized, improperly stored and processes records and appointments and cannot be trusted with your pets. Short story:  VET MALPRACTICE. I made an appt with his clinic Animal Clinic of Hollis Court for a TEETH CLEANING for my cat. The clinic schedules her for a SPAY instead and does not clarify this with me. I am only informed AFTER they cut into her and find out that she's already spayed. Her records at the clinic state she's spayed. She had a tattoo on her stomach that tells vets when a cat is spayed. Dr. Z saw the tattoo knew what it meant, called me, because I didn't pick up immediately proceeded anyway. Then proceeded to gaslight me by saying this incident is his fault AND my fault. Here are options he could have taken as a licensed professional who has been in the field for years: 1. Wait for owner to respond since he noticed an obvious red flag or 2. Take a single minute to check with his OWN staff to see her records on file which would have told him she’s already spayed. -10/10 stars if possible. I've never been this upset or cried this much over anything in my life, it’s been an absolute nightmare and my cat is suffering for NO REASON. She was supposed to get a TEETH CLEANING??? I don’t understand at all.

This review is for the vet only. The receptionist and the vet techs were very nice (and most likely overworked). We only came here in an emergency on Sunday since it was opened and nearby. Not only is the vet unprofessional, but he was hard to understand, and came up with assumptions and conclusions without diagnosing further (did not check my dog’s temps nor monitored her heart rate). Prior to getting 2 shots from him, my dog was still drinking water (to cure her dehydration from her diarrhea). After the shot, she became drowsy and refused to eat or drink anything. She was always a fighter and had tried to stay conscious from the shot, but eventually passed away. This was honestly the most traumatizing pet experience of my life. So please, if you love your pet, avoid this place at all cost. It’s not even about the money. This vet cannot be trusted and should have his license revoked!

Every-time i walk into this Clinic i am greeted with warmth and welcome, such kind people. My cat who i have had throughout my whole life needed surgery, i lost hope. But with the help of such awesome workers in the Hollis Court Clinic, my childhood cat was able to live a happy and healthy life. Huge thanks to the people that work here!
