We took our perfectly healthy 8 month old cat for a spay. My cat died 2 1/2 days later from the surgery.. When I called about it I didn’t even receive a call back from the vet and was told by front office staff I wouldnt receive a refund. This is a routine procedure. I did not pay you to kill my cat. Don’t take your pets here.

As a disabled veteran with a service dog, I recently visited this clinic for my dog’s end-of-life care and cremation. I was assured that the euthanasia process would be streamlined, with minimal waiting due to the sensitive circumstances. Additionally, I was promised a final paw and nose print as a keepsake. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of these expectations. Despite having an appointment, I waited over an hour on the day of the procedure. When I returned to pick up my dog’s ashes, I was informed that the paw and nose prints were never made. To make matters worse, the staff denied that this was ever agreed upon, despite it being discussed beforehand. This experience added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. I urge the clinic to reevaluate its customer service protocols and ensure that promises made to clients, especially during such emotional moments, are honored with compassion and professionalism.

Unprofessional and Heartless Customer Service I had an appointment scheduled for 4:00 PM today, and I called ahead to let them know I was running a little behind. I was traveling with my 7 puppies, who are only 8 weeks old, on a 2-hour drive, and they got car sick multiple times. This caused unavoidable delays as I had to stop repeatedly to clean up and comfort them. Despite my efforts to communicate and be transparent, the staff showed no understanding or compassion. When I called, I explained the situation in detail and even offered to pay extra for their time. They told me as long as I arrived by 4:30, it would be fine. But at 4:27, I received a call with a cold, dismissive tone saying, “If you’re not pulling into the parking lot, I suggest you turn around or get rescheduled.” I was just a few minutes away, after everything I’d been through, but they didn’t care. What made this experience worse was the attitude. I explained how difficult the drive had been—dealing with 7 crying puppies, cleaning up after them, and navigating through traffic delays caused by two car accidents. Yet the person on the phone simply said, “I can’t help you,” in a way that felt completely indifferent and rude. This was a heartbreaking experience, not just for me but for my puppies. They were exhausted and stressed, and instead of receiving a shred of understanding or patience, I was met with hostility. It’s not just about being late—it’s about how you treat people during difficult situations. I’m deeply disappointed in this business. I’m not looking for an apology or excuses, but they should absolutely do better. Kindness and flexibility in customer service can go a long way, especially when customers are facing challenges beyond their control. Unfortunately, this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

They have always treated me and my "Sweet Shimas" like family and have provided us with the best of care. Dr. Cox and everyone at "The Animal Clinic" are truly the best in North/Central Florida and I am blessed to have them for all my Dogs needs.
