My kitten Theo was very sick. I was so worried about him, I didn’t think he would live long. At 5 months he already had quite the medical history. The first Dr that treated him was out of options. He def tried but Theo wasn’t responding. I found Dr John and he was still able to get a treatment plan in place and do some additional testing the other clinic didn’t offer. it wasn’t an easy case and I appreciate him not giving up. Theo is finally a healthy kitten (and I’m not a nervous wreck about him anymore). I hope we’re at the end of this , but if not I know Dr John will get him back on track to a normal kitten again. My family is very grateful for all his help. Thank you Dr John for saving Baby Theo!

Promotional Information and Client Experience

All Creatures Veterinary Hospital welcomes new patients and appreciates referrals, indicating an open door for new clients seeking their services. They invite potential clients to call and speak with their customer care representatives to book appointments. After-hours emergency services are provided for their regular patients.

However, it is important to address some of the customer feedback that highlights areas for improvement. While many reviews praise the in-person care and the kindness of the staff, there have been concerns raised regarding communication, particularly via phone. One review detailed difficulties in reaching the office by phone, with responses primarily limited to automated text messages. This can be a point of frustration, especially during urgent situations. A particularly concerning incident involved a long-term patient experiencing bloody vomiting, where the owners reported a significant delay in response and ultimately a discharge from the practice without a call back, citing "unacceptable language" as the reason. This highlights a need for more robust and responsive communication channels, particularly for emergent concerns, to ensure that pet owners feel supported and their beloved pets receive timely attention.

Despite these critical observations, numerous positive reviews attest to the hospital's overall quality of care, compassion, and professional staff. Many clients express gratitude for the care their pets have received, from routine check-ups to life-saving interventions. The sentiment of "Love Love Love every one here! No other place I would want to bring my kids (pups). You are a blessing to our community" reflects the strong positive relationships built with many clients.

In summary, All Creatures Veterinary Hospital aims to be a comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care provider in Seneca Falls, NY. They offer a broad range of services for various animals, focusing on preventive care and client education. While they receive strong praise for their in-person care and the dedication of their veterinary team, potential clients should be aware of past feedback regarding communication challenges, particularly concerning phone responsiveness in urgent situations. Their commitment to improving facilities and providing high-standard care remains a core objective.

The doctor and techs are very nice and thorough in person. However, they never answer the phone and respond only with automated texts messages and refuse to call back. If you have any kind of urgent or emergent need or concern you should not expect any timely response. Today our dog who is (was) an established patient was having mucous/bloody vomiting. My husband contacted the office at 8:30am, no answer by phone and received only sporadic texts later in the day. When I finally got home from work and called and left a message with the doctor. The response was a text informing us we had been removed from the practice. I will admit my husband lacks grace at times with his words but that doesn’t give a veterinary practice the right to ignore an urgent concern from a patient that’s worried about their beloved pet. Due to the reply I will add more specifics. We called the office at 8:15am because our dog had been vomiting blood. At 8:17am we get a text from the “vet”. My husband was scared and wanted to speak to a human. After 8 minutes we get a response and eventually told they would let the Dr know. 5 HOURS LATER WE STILL RECEIVED NO RESPONSE! So when I called and left another concerned message after hours (5:05pm) I get an almost immediate response via text that we have been “let go” from the practice. In conclusion, it took less than 10 minutes for you to gather our records and text us a discharge verses calling us back and ensuring your patient was ok (which could have taken 3 minutes). 👌🏻 So to summarize: Established patient has a scary concern about their beloved pet, vet doesn’t respond for an entire business day until after hours then discharges patient with no call back because our language is “unacceptable”. I’ll let the community decide if this is quality care. 0 stars.

I had used this vet and was happy when I received service. I have slacked a little and have not brought my dog since late 2021. I went to set up an apt and was shocked with the rude response I got to take him to whenever I have been getting care since I haven't been since 21. Very sad that they were so rude and refuse service. What makes it worse is my dad has not has his dog there since the same timeframe and they asked him if he wanted to set up an apt for his dog and they even took my dads new pup in! If you want a place that cares I suggest you keep looking.

Great folks here and the service is second to none. The Vets here performed a difficult surgery on my best friend. He came through great and had full use of all 4 legs.
