All Creatures Animal Hospital

This first part was my first review when I thought they had treated my snake properly. Months later, she was still sick. And today she's laying in her home, dead... so pretty much ignore the first part of this review. The second part is what really happened... They took care of my snake! I've had her over 25 years and never had to take her to a vet. But apparently she got nipped by a rat and got mouth rot. She's good now! Highly recommended! Update. My snake is now dead. Today is May 16th, 2024. I took her in 2 weeks ago and they suggested I leave her there for a week. I picked her up last Thursday and they didn't have the prescription that they recommended and said they would call me when it came in. Yesterday I called and left a message wondering where the medication was. My snake was not acting normal. Very lethargic. I waited until this afternoon for a return call. Nothing. I called again and left a message. No return. Finally around 4:00 or so I called and got someone and they said the medication still had not come in. And the doctor was out. They would call me back. They called back and said bring her in tomorrow for observation and it'll only be the normal $70 office visit. I've already spent over $1,000 with them. And again, now she's dead. I would not recommend this vet at all. I was going to get her records and take her somewhere else for a second opinion because after over 3 months she was still sick from mouth rod. A normal snake disease. Now my pet that I got in 2001 is no longer with me. And I just remembered, they were supposed to tell me to schedule an appointment that they had put on their notes and they didn't tell me about it. She was not feeling better about 6 weeks ago so I took her in and the vet, which is not a very nice man. Quite condescending. Was wondering why I didn't show up for my appointment. I was never told I had an appointment. I did not have an appointment. They failed to schedule it, it was just written in their books. So I would find an alternative for your reptile. Maybe even your other animals. They did not seem to know what they were doing with mine. And now she is gone.

My bearded dragon, Puff, has been going here since I rescued her. I am very pleased with the services they provide and they always provide quick updates. I board my beardy here and she receives vet care. I appreciate how thorough they are and how they always answer any questions or concerns I have. Thank you for your services and generosity. I brought my rabbit in for an emergency that I thought was GI stasis. It turned out he had an obstruction requiring emergent surgery or euthanasia. He was extremely sick and Dr. Akins was worried that his stomach would burst and he would die a painful death. Though his chances of making it through surgery were low, I opted for the surgery to give him a chance, knowing that he would be taken care of by Dr. Akins and his team if things went south. Luckily, he made it through surgery, and Dr. Akins went above and beyond, taking him home over the weekend to monitor his recovery. I trust Dr. Akins with my rabbit and I am extremely appreciative that he gave me more time with my bunny as well as better education on how to properly care for him. The staff at All Creatures clearly knew how to take care of rabbits and were compassionate and well-informed. I recommend them for all lagomorph concerns!
