I have been bringing my dogs to All Creatures for more than two years; I have brought four dogs to their office and have spent thousands of dollars there. Recently, I scheduled an appointment for a routine annual exam; and waited three weeks for the appointment. When I arrived, I was taken to an exam room and waited about 20 minutes before a tech came in and drew blood. I waited another 20 before trying to find an employee. At the front desk, the young woman answered a call while I was waiting to ask her about the wait time, so I left. I had another appointment to get to.I rescheduled my dog’s appointment for the following day, and upon my arrival was informed that they had dumped her blood and would have to re-draw it, because I left “without paying.” I told her that I left without seeing a doctor. I was very frustrated and left. Again. As I was getting into my car, I was confronted in the parking lot by the actual veterinarian, who angrily reprimanded me like I was a child; really unprofessional and rude. I thought she intended to apologize, but instead, she said I should find another vet. I scheduled an appointment at another clinic for the following day; when I arrived, the front desk person informed me that they were running about five minutes behind schedule, which I appreciate. We were in and out with all vaccines and an exam in 40 minutes. In January, they performed a mass removal and did a sloppy job on my dog’s incision and stitches. Weeks later, and he still had an undissolved stitch with a lump at the corner of the incision under his skin. I should not have gone back after that. All Creatures has no respect or value for their clients’ time. What they don’t understand is that they are providing a service and that there are many clinics in the area who can do the same exact thing. To add to it, when I attempted to refill my other dog’s anxiety prescription, they refused, which is negligent. I would highly recommend using any one of the other clinics in the area for your pet’s care.

All Creatures Animal Clinic, located at 3382 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, USA, functions as a "Pet Hospital," providing a range of veterinary services and goods to the local community. The environment at All Creatures Animal Clinic, as depicted through customer reviews, appears to elicit mixed experiences. While one review praises their ability to get a guinea pig in quickly and their compassionate approach during euthanasia, another details significant frustrations with wait times and staff interactions. A pet hospital, by its nature, aims to provide a clean, sterile, and organized environment for animal care. The front desk serves as the initial point of contact, and ideally, this area should be welcoming and efficient. The contrasting experiences suggest that while the clinic may have the necessary physical infrastructure for examinations and procedures, the consistency of the patient and client experience within that environment can vary. One review highlights "caring and compassionate" interactions, particularly during a sensitive time, implying an environment conducive to emotional support for pet owners. Conversely, issues with extended wait times and perceived unprofessional confrontation in the parking lot indicate areas where the operational environment might fall short of client expectations for efficiency and respectful communication.

All Creatures Animal Clinic offers various veterinary services typical of a pet hospital. Based on the reviews, these services include routine annual exams and vaccinations, as indicated by a client attempting to get these done for their dog. They perform diagnostic procedures, as evidenced by blood draws for annual exams. Surgical procedures, such as "mass removal," are also part of their offerings. Furthermore, the clinic provides sensitive end-of-life care, including euthanasia services for pets, as detailed in the positive review concerning a guinea pig. This review specifically mentions that they "made the process as easy as they could" and offered thoughtful gestures such as "casts of her paws," a "nice and thoughtful box," and a signed card from the staff. This indicates a commitment to compassionate care during difficult times. The clinic also handles prescription refills, although one negative review highlights a refusal to refill an anxiety prescription, which the client deemed "negligent." This suggests that while they provide pharmaceutical services, there might be specific protocols or requirements for refills that can lead to client frustration if not clearly communicated.

The features of All Creatures Animal Clinic present a dual perspective based on the provided feedback. On the positive side, a significant feature is their affordability; one customer explicitly states, "Prices are low and they're upfront about them." This transparency and cost-effectiveness can be a major draw for pet owners. Their ability to handle urgent cases and get pets in quickly, as demonstrated with the guinea pig, is another valuable feature, particularly for critical situations. The compassionate approach during euthanasia, including the thoughtful memorial gestures like paw casts and personalized cards, stands out as a unique and deeply appreciated feature, providing solace to grieving pet owners. This level of empathy and personalized care in difficult moments is a strong point of the clinic. However, there are notable negative features raised by another client. These include significant and unappreciated wait times, a perceived lack of respect for clients' time, and what was described as an "unprofessional and rude" confrontation by a veterinarian. Concerns about the quality of surgical work, specifically "sloppy" incision and stitches, also emerge as a negative feature. The refusal to refill a prescription without clear explanation is another point of contention, indicating potential issues with communication or specific clinic policies that impact client service.

From a promotional standpoint, All Creatures Animal Clinic faces the challenge of reconciling divergent customer experiences. The positive aspects, such as "low and upfront prices," compassionate end-of-life care, and the ability to accommodate urgent cases, are strong promotional points. Highlighting their empathetic approach for small and unique pets like guinea pigs, and the personalized memorial offerings, could attract clients seeking deeply caring veterinary services. However, the negative reviews present a significant promotional hurdle. Issues like disrespect for client time, perceived unprofessionalism, and concerns about surgical outcomes could deter potential clients. Effective promotion would require addressing these areas of concern, perhaps by emphasizing efforts to improve wait times, staff training in client communication, and rigorous quality control for medical procedures. Currently, their promotion would rely on word-of-mouth from satisfied clients, especially those who experienced excellent care during sensitive times, while needing to counteract the impact of negative experiences. Transparency and a commitment to addressing client feedback would be crucial for building a consistently positive public image and attracting new clients in a competitive market.

Absolutely amazing vet. Prices are low and they're upfront about them. They did everything they could for my guinea pig and trusted me to know her best. They were caring and compassionate when it came to making the extremely hard decision to put her down. They made the process as easy as they could and got us in quickly. They even made casts of her paws, made up a nice and thoughtful box to put her in, and sent me a card a little while later that everyone signed. Their help made it easier to take care of my piggie and easier to deal with the aftermath.

I love this clinic! I’ve been taking my rabbit here for about a year for regular checkups, a spay, and other concerns. Everyone there is so kind and knowledgeable. My rabbit is happy and healthy. Highly recommend!

I took my bearded dragon Coco here for the first time for a parasite, they got me in within the week, the deposit paid for the exam, her meds were very fairly priced, they were fast but attentive! I will definitely be returning here. Their staff are very nice! :) I’ll recommend them to anyone from now on

Absolutely love this vets office and all of its staff. This has been my personal vet for many many years. It is also my rescues vet. They are phenomenal at working with us for appointments as well as cost of things on a personal and professional level. I have known a few of the staff members for quite a few Years, and have even adopted a dog to a staff member. Can’t rave about them enough. Appreciate you all and everything you do for us.❤️
