I was googling online for acupuncture for my dog. This hospital came up. I never used but have volunteered a shelters 30years and rescued dogs and it sickens me because when I worked for a very well-known celebrity veterinarian in LA he always encouraged everybody to spay and neuter to contribute to healthy animals. He was so charismatic, Dr. Jeffrey Webber and I would hear him when somebody said they wanted to breed not be judgmental but persuasive now you shouldn’t do that and they listen to him and he would always say you’re doing the right thing ethically. Even purebreds get euthanized every day. I remember South Central shelter in LA 30 years ago they killed 150 a day I took out a standard poodle. It looked like a rug gorgeous dog. It would’ve been killed at the shelter I volunteer right now they have rescues from puppy mills, franchise poodles, etc. For those that want purebreds. I always wonder if these people who Brad pay taxes on their profits the way I do. I have no doubt the argument will be well. People are going to breed anyway, so let’s help them do it right but I feel let’s not them empower them to do it and if they have too much time on their hand, let them go volunteer to shelter and if they need money, let them drive Uber- if they’re so committed to their breed, let them help with breed rescue for their breed many options for whatever reason they breed. Every breeder should have to go to a high kill shelter and watch when they open up the cage with his sweet dog, wagging its tail all excited thinking it’s going for a walk and then they’re stuck with the pink liquid that makes them fall down into the arms of the person holding them if that lucky. Their life stripped away because of pet over population Which would be one society problem so easy to fix If everyone got their animals fixed.

Dec 23, 2024 · Lisa WeinstockDr.Salvo is the Best! This past weekend I had my first Frenchie litter and was pretty nervous for the c-section, at the very last second she met me extra- extra early at her office so I could do another progesterone test and feel better and then in the evening after the long day Dr.Salvo got in touch with me to check up on my pup and me! She’s very knowledgeable and shows she cares! Thanks for all the help Doc!

Sep 11, 2023 · Mariam GlissonDr. Salvo is a one of a kind vet. Accommodating, truly caring, and knowledgeable, I’d highly recommend her. I drive almost an hour to see her and it’s worth every trip.
Apr 02, 2023 · Madaleine HuffIt’s a pleasure going to Dr. Salvo’s office. It’s very clean and welcoming. Dr. Salvo is extremely smart and my dog Anabele loves her. Currently we are seeing Dr. Salvo for her assistance in getting Anabele pregnant. I know she is the best vet to do this !
