I truly cannot say enough about the kindness, compassion and exceptional care we received from this hospital during our final days with our beloved cat Noah. Despite not being existing clients, Heather the receptionist was so attentive and called me back within minutes of my email to them, got a doctor on the phone right away, Dr Mutty who left a thoughtful and thorough voicemail that immediately made us feel like Noah mattered, and from that moment on every interaction only deepened our gratitude. Ellen the technician we saw, treated Noah with such gentleness, love and respect, and Dr Mutty was incredibly attentive, patient and compassionate. They took the time to understand his case, review his records and prioritize his comfort, all while making us feel fully seen and supported. When it came time to say goodbye, they welcomed us back without hesitation fit us in and gave Noah the peaceful, loving farewell he deserved. They didn’t just care for our cat, they honored him and we are forever grateful for their kindness. I would wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone looking for not only excellent veterinary care, but true compassion. They made an unbearable moment bearable, and we’ll never forget that.

I love AV! We have been with them for two decades, and they just welcomed our new puppy, Oliver. They are knowledgeable, caring, fun, and completely in love with their patients.

I wanted to take a second to compose my thoughts before I wrote a review of this incredible facility. I am not an easy client because my pup, Melo was not a typical dog. Yep, she had four paws and a golden coat but she was a unique breed, a Portuguese Podengo. The breed is an ancient breed, dating back to Prince Henry the Navigator, small powerful pup who was loyal to a fault to their owner. Born hunters. Except...my beloved Melo. She wasn't a fan of outside, wind or temperatures that were too cold. She was a bit of a diva, judgmental. And as her person, I was ok with it. A lot of vets and their staff weren't. But Dr. Penney and company GOT Melo. They cared for her, loved her, helped us help her to live and thrive. Every visit was kind and safe, handling my fragile old lady dog with the love of family. Melo had stage four heart failure and a cardiologist to diagnose this challenge. When asked for the best team to care for my Melo, near us, the cardiologist recommended Dr. Penney and Acoaxet, stating this is the only place they take their dogs, traveling from locations far and wide. All I can say to end this is Melo is no longer suffering with her heart condition, having transitioned to the great beyond. Dr Penney was there, with love and kindness, letting me hold my girl to the bitter end. I grew up in a time when our family vet asked me to leave the room because I was crying too much, I was too weak to be a dog owner. I was twenty-one at the time. The Acoaxet practice, each and every kind soul, honored and recognized my pain and my love for my beloved Melo. They honored her in life and now in her passing. I can not recommend them high enough. This isn't a five star practice, this is the PREMIER practice in the South Coast area and beyond. Thank you to all the staff and doctors for holding us up during the worst time of our lives. You matter.

I cannot say enough about this office. I came from an office that was much closer to my home because I had heard such great things. I am so glad to have made the change, it is worth the drive. My babes are patients of Dr Anton and we absolutely LOVE her, you can tell how much she loves her job by the way she cares for us. We have also seen Dr Penney -who was so sweet! Dr Brieding was absolutely amazing when we brought our big guy in for his neuter and gastropexey, she was so patient with me, I was so nervous about the procedure. Each and every vet tech has been nothing but perfect at every visit, and the front desk staff are always so friendly and excited to see Lorenzo and Gia wether it’s for a happy visit ( weight check) or a routine check up. We LOVE everyone at Acoaxet and are so glad we found them ❤️
