I love them! They are the best! This was my first visit to the hospital. The staff and the doctor were incredible! The experience was one of the best. Dr. Fazeli was incredibly caring and explained the process! My dog was sedated and I picked him up a few hours later! My dog was happy and ready to sleep. If you need a physician and staff who cares. I recommend Ace Animal Hospital and give them 5 stars!

Been my cats' doctors for years. Absolutely stellar (I'm not being paid for this) staff! And they care so much! I have a 15 year old cat with hypothyroidism and a mass in his ear. Treating him is tricky because of his age. Shortstop, the black kitty. They even referred me to a specialist for the mass in his ear. I love that they are not so full of themselves that they think they are the only authority. I have trusted them to care for my fur babies for years. I wasn't blessed with children, so I am an OTT helicopter cat and dog mom and they work with me, answer ALL of my questions and they "hear" me. I love that. We are working together to make sure my babies live their best lives possible! Their pricing is fair, and if you really can't afford everything, they work with you to help choose what you can afford, and what is best for your furbaby. They deal with a lot of emergencies, so you may have to wait, even if you have an appointment. I get that. Their waiting room and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. Very, very happy with Ace Animal Hospital.

Sadly I had an awful experience at Ace Animal Hospital in San Pedro! Took my cat in for what looked like a small cyst on his leg and after being put in a room, the vet tech came in and took my cat to the back and when I asked why he said oh the doctor likes to look at them in the back, which I thought was very odd as I don’t know this doctor and everyone in the practice was new since the last time I was there. The doctor came in gave me 2 minutes of his time stating it was just a cyst nothing to worry about but my cat needed surgery today even though he just confirmed it was a cyst and nothing dangerous. He then said he would also fix his front paw as it was bleeding pretty bad. I responded well that is very odd as there was nothing wrong with his front paw when I handed him to your vet tech. The doctor got a little frazzled and said oh well maybe we hurt his paw pulling him out of his cage. I was speechless! Doctor left the room had his tech come in and quote me $3000 with a two page line item of costs. I said no way please bring me my cat. The tech went back to the doctor letting him know my decision and came back again asking what I was willing to pay? I laughed and said I didn’t plan on spending $1000 so please return my cat and again he went out to talk to the doctor. He came back for the 3rd time and said we can do it for $1300. I was so upset by then and said since when is surgery a negotiated price ? I again asked for my cat back and he said I need to clean out and bandage his paw first 🤬 Kicker was the front desk tried to charge me for the visit and when I laughed she said well we aren’t charging you to bandage his front paw… needless to say I did not pay !

I recently had the unfortunate experience of a dog attack and my dog received a bite. The experience was terrifying. I called the first emergency number I found and wound up at Ace Animal Hospital in San Pedro. The staff were very professional and caring, sympathetic to my fear for my dogs injury. They kept him overnight, did his surgery the following day and he's now in recovery. I will be forever thankful for the care he and I received. They really were so supportive and helpful, providing me with documents to help support my case with Animal Control. I highly recommend their caring staff if you are ever in emergent need. Thanks again for all your support, it really made the scariest experience of my life less traumatic once I saw my doggy on the mend. 💚

This center could really care less when it comes to emergency walk-ins & senior dogs. I used to recommend this place, but not after one of our family dogs was on the verge of dying, and they gave us medicine to try and help her. After payment, she was going lifeless & passed away 3 hours later. Now, my own dog I had recently brought him in. He's a senior dog that caused himself to bleed a lot from a mass he has on the side of his head. He had created a hole. Then we got Dr. Omid Fazeli, and he tells me, "What do you want me to do? This is not an emergency. He's not bleeding anymore." Clearly, to patch him up or do something, you're a vet. He's a senior dog already with issues, and when we came in, he was still bleeding. I only had a paper towel to stop his bleeding while we made our way to Ace. They kept getting his age wrong & calling him a she, when he's a male & corrected them by saying, "He hurt himself today & he bleed on the floor. He has a hole. Can it be patched or anything given so He doesn't get an infection?" They were very dismissive until the doctor finally recommended things, and we went with doing tests on him & even x-rays. After this same doctor gives me some results, after all that blood work, urine testing, etc. He just says that his bloodwork looked off, he's anemic, & that it looks like he has a tumor. 741 dollars to just get that bit of information & he claimed my dog had liver problems but surprisingly he didn't bring that up again when the tests came out or else he would've added that with the rest of the issues. A possibility of a cancerous tumor inside him was like a bomb drop, so I needed time to recollect myself. He then wants to do an ultrasound to find out if it is cancerous?? The blood work would have said if he did have cancer, but he was tight lip about it & seemed to get upset when I wanted more information about what they found in the tests. He kept pushing for an Ultrasound and claimed he won't continue with anything and wouldn't elaborate until the ultrasound happens and that (with sedation + interpretation) alone was 930.95 after we had just paid 741.00. . After I had asked for a copy of his blood work & x-rays because even after he had dropped all that news, he didn't show me the x-rays or anything. Even the assistant asked if he did, and after finding out not, he had brought that doctor in again. Then Dr. Omid Fazeli claimed that I was at fault for not getting him an x-ray before when he didn't give me any reason before & dismissed my dog's other problems before then too. Very unprofessional & no empathy after I discovered that I could lose my only dog as well. After that whole mess and trying to stay calm, they had finally brought my dog out. We were there 1-3pm. The inside of his cone was covered in dry blood along with the entirety of his ear. Meaning he started bleeding again & after I was told he was anemic & that "he wasn't bleeding anymore." It pissed me off, like you mean to tell me they let him bleed in the back and didn't bother cleaning/ attending to his ear. They finally did something after I had brought it to their attention. They took him again, went to clean his wound & put a sock on his head for the bleeding, along with receiving pain medicine in the meantime so I could take him somewhere else. They really didn't want to help my senior dog. ESPECIALLY in the state he is. I had to practically beg & even get upset for them to actually do something for my pup, but they had no problem taking my money.
