Mar 02, 2025 · Eileen RansomWe’ve been here several times, each time went great! We’ve brought him for a check up (which is free for first visit), we’ve brought him for vaccination (which were anywhere from $90-$130 for 3 or 4), and we just brought him in at which he had to have surgery done ($1390). The surgery experience was great, the Vet came out and explained everything thoroughly (with photos and x-rays). He was very transparent and seemed to care a lot. He had two puncture wounds from a dog fight that needed to be stitched under anesthesia. For everything, after medications, it was $1390 which wasn’t a bad price (obviously it’s a lot of money but it’s not as bad as other places). Also, it’s always pretty quick to get in. I believe it depends on urgency at times, however, for his surgery, they were able to get us in the same day once I explained he had puncture wounds. For the vaccines, I believe we waited between 2-5 days, I can’t remember but it was within the week. I really appreciate the Vet’s care and the fair pricing.
Nov 02, 2024 · Cirena wilsonThis vet office has been the best experience I have had with my two pups ages five and seven. They are very kind and thoughtful and will work with your schedule to make sure you can bring your pet in and pick up around your work schedule. They are very fairly priced and do not try to charge for unnecessary things.
Apr 17, 2025 · Natalia StimacI've referred so many people here. The dr saved one of my cats' lives, removing a Nerf dart from here intestines and didn't overcharge me He did surgery on my other cat to fix an eye issue he had. Improving his quality of life without breaking my bank account
Feb 23, 2025 · Mary DaganA Pet Clinic of Kent has been an absolutely critical lifeline for me - they’ve helped enable me to care for my two elderly cats (both of whom developed cancer late in life, one who passed last September) and give them the best life I can. Compared to other places I’ve taken them over the last decade, their prices are dramatically lower and from all I’ve seen the quality of care is not lower. The primary caveat I think worth calling out is that communication is not their strongest point. You will need to make sure you are proactive and understand what to expect, what you need to do, etc. - otherwise it can all go by a little quick. I get the sense they genuinely care for the animals they help but that dealing with people and considering the sorts of communication issues and emotional readiness may not come as naturally. The biggest example was when it was time to put Simba down I wish I had been given detailed info on exactly what to expect during the procedure before hand and that I had been directed to pick out his urn before ever stepping foot in the clinic. I was already exhausted on several axes when I arrived and the confusion of having to make a decision while taking in information and not knowing that there was some urgency after setting up the IV all led to me feeling rushed (which is on me) and agreeing to move forward. I didn’t realize it would take literally 0.25 seconds for Simba to go from alive and there with me to completely gone - somehow I had it in my mind it took time to set in. As such I wasn’t mentally present in his final moments there with him. All this said, I am still giving a 5 star rating b/c outside of this they were critical in diagnosing Simba and helping me prepare and understand how severe his condition is and what to expect (my explicit asking likely helped), and I was able to give him a send off in his final weeks that dramatically helped blunt the pain from his death and make it much easier to cope. Now they’re helping me with Baxter. And importantly the whole way even though I’ve spent thousands at this point they’ve made this level of care within reach for me because if I’d gone else where I would have very very likely paid tens of thousands instead which is not feasible for me. So long story short, thank you so much for being there. Despite the flaws I’ve mentioned I deeply appreciate the service and care you provide me and many others in this area. [EDIT] Since writing this I’ve taken Baxter in a few more times and he had to have one major surgery. In that time I’ve seen noticeable improvements in the quality of communication from them. It’s not perfect but I see a genuine effort on their part - particularly the head vet. I feel it worth calling out here - it’s noticed and appreciated!
