Highly suggested! He fit in my dog when others vets wouldn’t in a special situation late on a Monday night. He took excellent care of my pup and showed so much compassion and kindness. My dog healed up beautiful and doesn’t even mind going there!

Welcome to A&M Animal Clinic - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
A&M Animal Clinic, located at 1040 N Church St, Hazle Township, PA 18202, USA, operates as a "Pet Hospital" that emphasizes personalized and dedicated veterinary care through an "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" model. This approach allows them to focus intently on each patient, providing thorough and attentive service. This introduction will delve into the typical environment one might expect at such a facility, the range of services offered, the distinguishing features that set A&M Animal Clinic apart, and any available promotional information, all based on objective data and customer testimonials.
The **environment** at A&M Animal Clinic, as a "Pet Hospital" operating strictly by appointment, is likely designed to foster a calmer, more controlled, and less chaotic atmosphere compared to walk-in clinics. The "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" policy ensures that each visit is scheduled, reducing wait times and minimizing the stress often associated with crowded waiting rooms for both pets and their owners. This allows for a more focused and individualized experience. While specific details about the interior aesthetics are not widely available, a professional veterinary clinic environment would prioritize cleanliness, hygiene, and a functional layout. This would include a welcoming reception area, comfortable and private examination rooms where pets can feel secure, and potentially a treatment area for minor procedures. For more complex diagnostics or surgeries, a dedicated "Pet Hospital" like A&M Animal Clinic would be equipped with necessary medical equipment, possibly including an in-house laboratory for quick test results, and a surgical suite with appropriate anesthesia monitoring. The emphasis on compassion and kindness, as highlighted in reviews, suggests an environment where staff are attentive to an animal's emotional state, aiming to make visits as comfortable as possible. The fact that a dog "doesn't even mind going there" speaks volumes about the positive and non-stressful environment created by the clinic.
A&M Animal Clinic, functioning as a "Pet Hospital," offers a range of services aimed at maintaining and restoring the health of companion animals. While a comprehensive list of all their services is not explicitly detailed in the provided information, customer testimonials suggest they handle both routine and urgent cases with expertise. Their ability to fit in a dog "in a special situation late on a Monday night" indicates a strong commitment to **emergency or urgent care** for their existing clientele, even outside typical business hours, which is a significant service for a "Pet Hospital." The successful treatment of a "so so so sick" dog, with Dr. Abdelmalek helping "exceptionally and beautifully," points to capabilities in **diagnostics and treatment of acute illnesses**. Given the nature of a general animal clinic, it's highly probable they offer a standard array of veterinary services including: **wellness examinations**, which are crucial for preventative care; **vaccinations** to protect against common diseases; **parasite control** for fleas, ticks, and internal parasites; **surgical procedures** (likely routine spaying and neutering, and potentially more complex soft tissue surgeries as needed); and **dental care**. The focus on "getting to the bottom of it" for a sick dog suggests a thorough approach to diagnostics, which might include various laboratory tests. While not explicitly stated, general veterinary clinics often also provide nutritional counseling, microchipping, and potentially minor behavioral consultations. The "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" system enables them to allocate sufficient time for each case, which is particularly beneficial for complex or challenging medical situations.
The **features** that distinguish A&M Animal Clinic, as strongly evidenced by customer reviews, primarily revolve around the exceptional dedication and compassionate care provided by Dr. Abdelmalek and his team. A key feature is their **willingness to go above and beyond for urgent cases**, fitting in a dog in a "special situation late on a Monday night" when other vets would not. This responsiveness and commitment to emergency needs are invaluable to pet owners. Dr. Abdelmalek himself is highlighted for his "excellent care," "so much compassion and kindness," and for helping animals "exceptionally and beautifully." This strong emphasis on empathetic, high-quality care is a significant drawing point. Another notable feature is their **ability to work with clients to achieve positive outcomes**, as mentioned by the owner of the very sick dog, who states, "he worked with us so well to get to the bottom of it." This collaborative approach in diagnosis and treatment fosters trust and confidence in their veterinary services. Furthermore, the "prices are amazing!!!" which indicates that the clinic offers **affordable care** without compromising on quality, making their services accessible to a wider range of pet owners. The fact that a dog, after a significant medical event, "doesn't even mind going there" speaks to the positive experience and gentle handling by the staff, demonstrating an environment that minimizes stress for the animals. The "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" model itself is a feature, ensuring focused attention on each patient and potentially shorter wait times once an appointment is secured.
In terms of **promotional information**, A&M Animal Clinic heavily benefits from powerful, direct customer testimonials, which serve as their most effective form of advertising. Phrases like "Highly suggested!" and "We won't recommend anyone else" are incredibly impactful. The specific anecdotes of fitting in an emergency case and successfully treating a "so so so sick" dog provide concrete examples of their capabilities and dedication, implicitly promoting their high standard of care. The mention of "prices are amazing!!!" also functions as a strong promotional message, appealing to pet owners seeking quality care at a reasonable cost. While traditional advertising campaigns are not detailed, the clinic's local presence at 1040 N Church St, Hazle Township, PA 18202, USA, and their easily accessible phone numbers, (570) 454-2466 and +1 570-454-2466, are fundamental components of their promotional strategy, enabling direct contact and scheduling. The "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" designation, while a feature, also acts as a promotional filter, attracting clients who value focused, pre-scheduled care. Ultimately, the clinic's reputation for compassionate, effective, and affordable veterinary services, largely built on the positive experiences and strong recommendations of its clients, forms the core of its promotional outreach within the Hazle Township community.

Mar 28, 2025 · WI love this place my dog had come here for the first time ever and was so so so sick and Dr.abdelmalek helped him out exceptionally and beautiful we won't recommend anyone else he worked with us so well to get to the bottom of it and prices are amazing!!!
May 08, 2025 · Jugermi NThank you so much dr. Sammy. You were a blessing to us on a Friday afternoon when our sons’s dog had porcupine quills in her face, tongue and feet. No other vet would accept her but dr Sammy took her right in. She was in agony but he was able to relieve her pain as soon as we arrived at the office. We hope you will continue to help many other pets as you did that day.
Nov 30, 2024 · Anna BurkeWe suddenly needed to get our cat euthanized and chose this place based on the reviews. While we had hoped he could be helped, it seemed as if euthanasia was our best option based on everything we knew. Once we decided it was best, the doctor numbed our cat and immediately demanded payment before continuing. A little incosiderate, fine, but that's not the end of the story. Our cat, as he became numb, had had diahhrea. This doctor is clearly annoyed at this, even declaring that he "didn't need this today." So our cat lays there on the table, numb, unable to move, covered in his own feces, while this doctor begrudgingly cleans up the diahhrea. Eventually, once we've all helped clean up this mess, he whips our cat's body towards him and readies the site of injection by shaving off a small tuft of hair; "you want to keep this?" he says casually as he hands it to us. He also talks throughout about how he has to prepare to "kill" our cat; this is all rather insensitive. Perhaps this is the result of cultural differences surrounding death, but he was incredibly disrespectful to our cat and irredeemably insensitive to us. A little cultural awareness goes a long way. Beyond that, this is a seemingly one man operation; no vet tech, no other rooms. Everything in the exam room also seemed old and seldom cleaned. I wouldn't say this man was uneducated, but he clearly lacks any basic respect or sympathy for our cat (and, likely, all animals). Perhaps he is good at basic examinations and daignoses, but he is the furthest thing one can be from recommended for euthanasia. Do NOT take your pet here to get euthanized unless you'd like them to be treated like an object rather than the living, loved being that they are.
Nov 13, 2024 · Seth HowellExcellent service!!! I am new to Hazleton and haven’t gotten around to finding a permanent vet for my dog, so when my dog had an emergency I had no one to call. Finding a vet who would see my dog was a nightmare; no one would see us. Unless you already have an appointment you won’t be seen; no walk-ins accepted. A&M Animal Clinic is my hero! Not only did they see me immediately, but the doctor is very knowledgeable and kind. He showed compassion, which helped calm my anxiety. I knew my beloved dog was in great hands. My dog now has vet for life. Dr Abdelmalek reduce the fees as well and didn’t charge us for emergency visit, rather just regular exam pricing. Also while there, two other calls came in of people having an emergency and their own vets were not available, where A&M told them to come in. God Bless this establishment, highly recommended!
