This park was huge! It had a really large area for dogs over 35lbs and a separate area for dogs 35lbs and under. It's a node green area with some nice trees for shade. Everyone there seemed very friendly. The dogs were very happy, too. There are two water fountains outside the larger area, with human fountains as well as pet ones. There is a double gate to avoid dogs from running out when another one comes in. There are also poop bags at the entrance. I live in Staten Island, but my daughter país sufran at Wolcott Park, which is a 9 minute drive from there. It was a great day for my 1 and half year high energy husky, Storm. She ran so fast and so far. She was just happy to feel free and run with the new friends she made. There is also a parking lot right in front of the park. Definitely worth checking out if you are every in the neighborhood work your dogs. There are gazebos inside the park with picnic tables as well.

Services Offered
- Separate Areas for Dogs: Wolf Hill Off-Leash Dog Park thoughtfully provides two distinct and spacious areas to cater to dogs of different sizes and play styles. There's a really large, dedicated section specifically designed for dogs over 35 lbs, offering ample room for bigger breeds to run, chase, and burn off energy. In addition, a separate, equally secure area is designated for dogs 35 lbs and under, ensuring that smaller and more timid dogs can play comfortably and safely without being overwhelmed by larger, more boisterous companions. This separation is a key feature, promoting positive interactions and reducing potential stress for all dogs.
- Water Fountains: To ensure dogs stay hydrated during their active play, the park is equipped with convenient water fountains located just outside the larger dog area. These fountains are designed with both human and pet access, making it easy for owners to grab a drink while their dogs refresh themselves. This readily available water supply is a crucial amenity, especially on warmer days, contributing significantly to the comfort and well-being of the park's visitors.
- Waste Disposal: Recognizing the importance of maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, Wolf Hill Off-Leash Dog Park provides dog waste bags conveniently placed at the entrance. This thoughtful provision encourages responsible pet ownership and helps keep the park pristine for everyone. Regular disposal stations throughout the park further facilitate easy cleanup, ensuring a pleasant experience for all users and minimizing any potential health concerns.
- Secure Double-Gate Entry System: Safety is paramount at Wolf Hill, which is why the park features a robust double-gate entry system. This design is crucial in preventing dogs from accidentally escaping when other dogs are entering or exiting the park. The double-gate mechanism provides an added layer of security, giving dog owners peace of mind that their pets are contained within the off-leash area, even during busy periods of foot traffic.

Sep 18, 2024 · Leticia GaudiosoMy girlfriend and I took out GSP to the park and it was perfect. I've personally have taken my dog plenty of times here to this park. I will warn whoever takes their dogs to be wary of other dogs. Unfortunately my pup caught Kennels Cough during our last vist. Be careful out there and make sure your pup is up to date on their vaccines
May 03, 2025 · Alfredo CintronThere are a few issues with the park. First, there are no water stations inside the fenced areas. Second, it's a mud/ dirt pit year round. It's a shame because this issue could be resolved fairly easily with relatively minimal cost, but the city won't do it. Aside from that, the dog area is part of a beautiful piece of property. The rest of the park is gorgeous with softball fields, a disc golf course, and waking trails.
Feb 17, 2025 · Brian BellNice little park. Best place to bring your doggies and fur babies for a stroll. Pretty big open spaces too!
Sep 19, 2023 · Yujin MotoIts a great park- large, open run area. I’ve personally witnessed a few little fights happen. You really never know how a dog will act sometimes. I wouldn’t recommend to small/ young pups that are still adjusting to large crowds of dogs. They have a small and large dog area. Its active, and people generally clean after their pets. They offer bags and have trash pails throughout as well as places to sit.
