## Promotions or Special Offers

As a municipal dog park, likely managed by the City of Mayville's Parks and Recreation Department (given its location adjacent to the TAG Center, which is run by the city), **Wag-n-Tag Dog Park** typically does not offer traditional "promotions" or "special offers" in the commercial sense (e.g., sales, discounts on entry fees). Instead, its "promotions" are inherent in its accessibility and the benefits it provides to the community, often related to required permits or licenses for pet ownership in the city.

The "value" or "special offer" of Wag-n-Tag Dog Park lies in its fundamental public access and the significant advantages it provides to local dog owners, often through a permit system that contributes to its maintenance and sustainability.

Here's what constitutes its "promotions" or value proposition from a local user's perspective:

  • **Annual Dog Park Permits (Potential):** While the provided reviews do not explicitly state a dog park permit fee for Wag-n-Tag, it is common for municipal dog parks in Wisconsin to require an annual permit. For example, the City of Mayville has general dog licensing fees (e.g., $13 for neutered/spayed dogs, $23 for unneutered/unspayed dogs). If a specific dog park permit is required, purchasing an annual permit (if available) usually offers a significant cost saving compared to potential daily fees for frequent users. This annual access becomes the primary "special offer" for regular visitors.

  • **Free Access (if no specific park permit is needed):** If the park operates without a specific dog park permit, then its entirely free access to a "brand new and spacious" facility with 24/7 availability is the ultimate "special offer" to the community. (It's important for users to verify this with the City of Mayville Parks & Recreation).

  • **Continuous 24/7 Availability:** This is a major "promotion" in itself. The ability to utilize a safe, fenced, and lit dog park at any hour of the day or night, year-round, provides immense flexibility and value that many other recreational facilities simply cannot match.

  • **Community-Enhanced Experience:** While not a discount, the positive community atmosphere where "dogs have all been friendly" and locals are encouraged to "brave the cold this winter and come out" creates a welcoming environment. This intangible benefit of a friendly and responsible user base enhances the overall value of the park.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on any required permits, fees, or specific rules for Wag-n-Tag Dog Park, it is always recommended to consult the official City of Mayville website or contact their Parks & Recreation Department directly. This will ensure you have the latest details to fully enjoy this fantastic local amenity.

Very nice dog park! Brand new and spacious enough for dogs to run around. We recently adopted a 5yr old Lab, and brought him to the park tonight even though it was 10° he got to play with another dog, which was great! Very happy pup! Hope more people brave the cold this winter and come out. We will definitely be back! 😁
