It's an ok place to let your dog off leash, not very busy, not a lot of shade. The retention pond in the large dog area looked pretty sketchy. Didn't want to let my dog get in. Maybe after we have had some rain. There was a wash off station and fresh water to drink

  • Off-Leash Play Environment: Within its designated, fenced areas, dogs are permitted to roam and play off-leash, allowing them the freedom to run, sniff, and interact naturally.

  • Fresh Drinking Water Access: The park provides fresh water for dogs to drink, ensuring they stay hydrated during their playtime, especially important in Florida's climate.

  • Wash-Off Station: A convenient wash-off station is available for owners to rinse off their dogs after playing, helping to clean muddy paws or sandy coats before heading home.

  • Waste Bag Provision: While a review mentions that "poop bags are not provided so bring your own" for another park, for Shae Burchfield, a reviewer stated, "Most people pick up after their dogs but watch your step in case." This suggests that while waste bags might be available at times, or it's simply a strong community culture of responsibility, owners are encouraged to bring their own as a backup. (Note: The provided text for Willow Bark Park mentioned no poop bags, but for Shae Burchfield, it simply states "Most people pick up after their dogs but watch your step in case," implying responsibility from owners rather than a lack of provided bags explicitly from the park, but it's not confirmed they are always provided).

  • Benches/Seating: While not explicitly detailed, the presence of a park implies areas for owners to sit and watch their dogs. (Common amenity for dog parks).

  • Community for Socialization: As noted by a local owner, the park is a "great go to dog park" for "socializing" their dogs. This indicates a consistent presence of other dogs, fostering important social interactions.

  • Local "Go-To" Spot: The park is described as a "great go to dog park," suggesting its reliability and consistent utility for local residents, even if it's "not very busy" at all times, providing a consistent option for off-leash exercise.

It's a great go to dog park which offers access to fresh water. Most people pick up after their dogs but watch your step in case. Even though I have a yard I like bringing my 3 dogs here for socializing and hoping they run out some of their boundless energy.

Great park, friendly dogs and owners, nice picnic tables, pavilion, clean and nice trees

Clean. Picnic tables but no food allowed inside where the picnic tables were. 🤷‍♀️ plenty of parking. When we went we brought lunch so we sat on a bench. Not the greatest as we had my 86 year old Mom with us and would have preferred a picnic table but those were inside the dog park itself and no food allowed inside there which is understandable as the dogs are there but ....🤦‍♀️....not alot of people there when we went but wont be bringing a picnic again if we go again! 😂 skateboard park as well for the kids . ..

Decent. Dogs and owners were friendly. The ONLY negative is the amount of sand spotted by several grassy areas. Some mulch would go a long way there. But... the dogs don't mind when they are playing!!
