This #3 enclosure is the 3rd one you come upon when entering from Pioneer 303 and is for all dogs. Huge area with plenty of room for dog to play with one another or fetch with their owner. This park is mostly grassy with some parts dirt or sand; that being said there are the occasional poop landmines out there yet I saw all owners picking up after dogs while there. Water fountain worked at this enclosure no problem. Majority of the dogs friendly and played with one another well, only 1 or 2 had some issues and their owners promptly leashed them or took them out. Overall good park to hang out with your fur baby.

Services Offered

Rush Creek Dog Park #3, as part of the broader Rush Creek Dog Park system, is equipped with essential services designed to enhance the experience for dogs and their owners:

  • Expansive Off-Leash Play Area: This specific enclosure (#3) is designated for "all dogs," implying it's a general-purpose area, though the broader park complex has separate areas for large and small dogs. This allows for ample room for dogs to run, play, and engage in off-leash activities.

  • Working Water Fountains: As noted by a customer review, the water fountain within this enclosure was working properly, which is essential for keeping dogs hydrated, especially during the warm Texas months.

  • Waste Disposal: While the reviews mention occasional "poop landmines," they also highlight that owners were generally observed picking up after their dogs, indicating that waste disposal stations with bags are likely present, as is standard for well-maintained public dog parks. Proper disposal helps keep the park clean for everyone.

  • Benches: The broader Rush Creek Dog Park features benches, including some dog bone-shaped benches with shade cover. It is reasonable to assume these are available within or near enclosure #3 for owners to sit and supervise their dogs.
