It's a beautiful dog park, but if you have a small breed, I'd recommend against taking them there. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, but many large breed owners ignore park rules. And if you say something, you're the bad guy. I hate i can't take Max and Zoey there any longer. They really enjoyed it.

It's a beloved local spot that provides a safe and stimulating outdoor experience for dogs and a relaxing atmosphere for their human counterparts.
Rover's Ridge Dog Park is far more than just a fenced-in area; it’s a thoughtfully designed recreational space that caters to the energetic needs of dogs while prioritizing the comfort and convenience of their owners. The park is praised for its meticulous upkeep, featuring green grass in both its large and small dog areas, which makes for a pleasant and clean play surface. What truly sets this park apart are the "fun obstacles" in both sections, providing an extra layer of engagement and mental stimulation for curious and active pups.
One of the most appreciated features is the presence of numerous green trees, offering ample natural shade – a significant advantage, especially during Tennessee's warm and sunny seasons. This ensures a more comfortable experience for both dogs and humans, allowing for longer, more enjoyable visits. The park also provides essential amenities like waste bags, lined trash containers, water bowls, and hoses, demonstrating a commitment to cleanliness and responsible pet ownership. While there have been occasional concerns noted about some large dog owners not adhering to the rules regarding separate areas, the park's overall design and the welcoming "cabana" make it a highly regarded destination for many White House locals. Whether you're a long-time resident or new to the area, Rover's Ridge Dog Park offers a clean, well-maintained, and engaging environment where tails wag, friendships blossom, and canine happiness takes center stage. It's a testament to White House's commitment to providing excellent recreational facilities for all its residents, including its cherished four-legged ones.

Rover's Ridge Dog Park provides a comprehensive set of services and amenities designed to ensure a safe, clean, and engaging experience for dogs and their human companions. As a well-regarded public park, its offerings focus on practicality and comfort:
- Separate Areas for Large and Small Dogs: A crucial and highly valued service, the park is divided into two distinct, securely fenced areas: one specifically for large dogs and another for small dogs. This separation is vital for safety, allowing dogs to play with others of similar size and energy levels, minimizing potential conflicts and promoting more appropriate interactions.
- Off-Leash Play: The primary service offered is a safe, enclosed environment where dogs can run, play, and socialize freely without the constraint of a leash. This is essential for their physical exercise, mental stimulation, and healthy social development.
- Water Fountains, Bowls, and Hoses: The park provides access to fresh drinking water through a water fountain, along with shared water bowls and hoses. This ensures that dogs can stay hydrated, especially during playtime and warmer weather.
- Poop Bags and Lined Trash Containers: To promote cleanliness and responsible pet ownership, the park offers complimentary poop bags and conveniently located, lined trash containers. This makes it easy for owners to pick up after their dogs, helping to keep the park tidy for everyone.
- Agility/Play Obstacles: Both the small and large dog areas feature fun obstacles, such as ramps or tunnels. These elements add an extra layer of engagement and mental stimulation, allowing dogs to practice their agility skills and burn off energy in a structured way.
- Shaded Seating Areas: The park includes benches for owners, often situated in shaded spots provided by green trees. This allows human companions to comfortably relax and supervise their dogs, making for a more enjoyable and extended visit. The presence of a welcoming "cabana" further enhances comfort.
- Port-a-Potty Access: While not directly within the fenced dog park, a port-a-potty is available nearby (approximately 50 yards up a hill), providing restroom facilities for human visitors.

Mar 09, 2025 · John RichardsonThis is a well cared-for dog park. The cabana is welcoming. The grass in both the small and large dog areas was green (it is April, now). There are fun obstacles in both areas as well as poop bags, lined trash containers, water bowls, hoses, and a water fountain. The green trees provide enough shade to enjoy a romp. There are some benches for the dogs' best friend. There is no toilet at this location, but there was a port-a-potty up the hill about 50 yards away.
Apr 17, 2025 · Chuck and Wanda AndersonThis place is the best place I’ve taken my dog to. They have a big area for them to run. It’s clean. There’s also places to sit with nice tables.
Dec 08, 2024 · Shannon De La CruzWhat a surprising found - we traveled through the area and took our dog here. It is not far from I-65. As one viewer pointed out, it is one of the best dog parks in midwest. My dog was amazed by the tunnels, ladders, and hoops. The park is so spacious and perfect for dogs to run and exercise.
