Access to the dog park is generally free for the public, reflecting its role as a shared recreational facility for all residents of Georgia.
The significant benefits and "offers" that users enjoy without any direct fee include:
-
Free Off-Leash Access: The most significant "promotion" is the complimentary entry to a spacious, securely fenced area where dogs can play freely. This is a crucial amenity for dog owners, enabling them to provide essential exercise and socialization for their pets without incurring costs.
-
Complimentary Water Access: The availability of free water fountains directly within the dog park areas is a valuable convenience, ensuring dogs stay hydrated during their visit, especially important in Georgia's climate.
-
Free Parking: The presence of ample, free parking makes visits convenient and accessible for all users, eliminating any additional costs associated with visiting the park.
-
Access to Extensive Trail Network: While dogs must be on-leash on the main trails, the free access to Rabbit Hill Park's extensive paved and unpaved walking and biking trails significantly enhances the overall recreational opportunities available to visitors before or after their dog park visit.
-
Community Atmosphere: The "friendly regulars" and welcoming environment, as highlighted by reviews, serve as an intangible "offer," creating a pleasant social experience for both dogs and their owners.

Feb 09, 2025 · Dennis SoteloThis is a great place to take your dog so she can run around and socialize with other dogs and people. There are a lot of friendly regulars and I felt welcome when I brought my dog there. There is a smallbdog playground and a large dog playground, as well as a dog run area
Jun 04, 2025 · kathy lawsonI was so excited to take my puppy to a dog park. We live in an apartment and he needs to run!! I thought the socialization would be good too... However, a man with 3 dogs- 2 of them being large(lab size), planted himself in the "small" dog pen area, with his 3 dogs. My puppy weighs 6 pounds. The 2 larger dogs came to the gate twice to see us, but, I did not go in, I do not trust my puppy around big dogs yet. I walked my puppy around the park, giving the man time to leave, but he did not! They stayed there until I finally just left. Is there noone to oversee and check on things, to ensure things are all good? I thought it was very rude, and will try a different park next time.
