Welcome to Harada Dog Park
For dog owners across California, finding a dedicated and well-maintained space for their canine companions to run, play, and socialize is an essential part of responsible pet ownership. In the vibrant community of Eastvale, residents are fortunate to have access to an exceptional facility that perfectly meets these needs: Harada Dog Park. More than just an open field, this park is a thoughtfully designed environment that caters to the joy and well-being of dogs of all sizes and their human companions. This comprehensive article will explore what makes Harada Dog Park a beloved local gem, detailing its location, the services and features it provides, and why it's an ideal destination for California dog lovers seeking a fantastic outdoor experience.
Harada Dog Park is a cherished part of the larger Harada Heritage Park complex, providing a secure and engaging off-leash area for furry friends. Its reputation is built on providing a clean, large territory that allows dogs ample space to explore, exercise, and interact with other dogs, promoting both physical fitness and crucial socialization skills. One of the most praised aspects of Harada Dog Park is its intelligent layout, which includes distinct, sizable sections for both large and small dogs. This separation ensures that every dog, from the most diminutive Chihuahua to the largest Great Dane, can enjoy their playtime comfortably and safely, reducing potential stress and promoting positive interactions. Visitors consistently highlight the park's thoughtful amenities, such as water facilities for thirsty pups, numerous benches for owners to relax, and the welcomed shade provided by large trees, especially on sunny California days. It's a place where the community comes together, fostering a friendly atmosphere where both pets and their people can connect and enjoy the great outdoors.
Harada Dog Park is situated within the broader Harada Heritage Park at 164190016, Eastvale, CA 92880, USA. While the provided address is a parcel number, the park is commonly known and accessed as part of the larger Harada Heritage Park facilities. This location places it conveniently within Eastvale, making it easily accessible for residents of Eastvale and neighboring communities in the Inland Empire region of California.
Accessibility to Harada Dog Park is generally good, though it has a unique parking situation that visitors should be aware of. While there isn't dedicated parking directly adjacent to the dog park itself, ample parking is available on the side of the baseball fields within the larger Harada Heritage Park. Visitors may see signs indicating "park at your own risk" in these areas, which is common for public recreational facilities. Despite this, the walk from the parking area to the dog park is typically manageable and contributes to the park feeling integrated into the larger recreational complex. The dog park features two distinct fenced areas with separate entrances, making it easy to enter and exit. The fact that it is part of a larger park also means it benefits from the overall accessibility and infrastructure of Harada Heritage Park, which often includes well-maintained pathways and connections to other amenities. This overall accessibility, combined with the clear separation of dog play areas, makes Harada Dog Park a practical choice for many local dog owners.
- Off-Leash Play Areas: Harada Dog Park provides spacious, designated off-leash areas for dogs to run, play, and interact freely. This core service allows canines the freedom they crave.

As a public facility managed by the Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD) in collaboration with the City of Eastvale, Harada Dog Park does not typically run commercial promotions or offer special discounts for entry, as access is free to the public. The primary "offer" is the provision of a high-quality, free-to-use, and well-maintained off-leash dog park for the community.
However, the Jurupa Community Services District and the City of Eastvale often host various community events within the broader Harada Heritage Park and other local parks. These events, while not direct promotions for the dog park itself, can enhance the overall experience for park goers and their pets. Examples might include "Barks and Brews" events, pet wellness clinics (like the free ones sometimes hosted by Riverside County Department of Animal Services at Harada Heritage Park), or other family-friendly festivals that welcome leashed dogs in the general park areas. To stay informed about any such city- or district-sponsored activities, temporary closures for maintenance, or other relevant announcements, it is highly recommended that locals check the official Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD) website, their Parks and Recreation section, or the City of Eastvale’s community events calendar. While direct sales promotions are not part of a public park's offerings, the consistent provision of a valuable community amenity at no cost is a significant benefit.
For general inquiries regarding Harada Dog Park, including its operating hours, maintenance schedules, or any specific rules and regulations, you can typically contact the Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD) Parks and Recreation Department, which oversees the Harada Heritage Park facilities.

Dec 01, 2021 · JentegrityI really like this dog park and highly recommend this dog park.the park is in a nice community and is part of the huge park that has a skatepark and various jungle gyms, soccer fields and baseball fields.their are two dog parks one for small dogs and the other for big dogs which are clearly labeled at the entrances of the dog parks.I love how their are tables and trees and obstacle courses in both parks and the grass is well kept and maintained.my dogs loved this park as well and it is a decent sized park I will be coming here more often.
Dec 27, 2020 · Alex lWhat a great location, people and event. I was here for the concert in the park, I definitely recommend it
Jul 14, 2024 · Nancy EscobedoAs mentioned in many of the reviews, minimal parking, considering it is next to a ball park, and I can't figure out, why whoever designed it, didn't put a gate in next to the parking lot. It can be difficult to walk along a busy street with multiple dogs and with children. I would love to know the brilliant mind who thought that was a good idea.
