Beautiful park! We were visiting the area and read about this dog park. We were so thrilled to see the multiple areas for dogs and also the fresh water and agility course! For one of our dogs, the chattering ground squirrels taunting him from outside the fence were great excitement. For our other dog, learning the agility course was a fun challenge! It was a very clean park and we even saw a few geese with babies on the pond.

As a public amenity managed by the local recreation and park district, Estes Park Dog Park typically provides its extensive facilities as a free community resource rather than offering commercial "promotions or special offers." Its primary "promotion" is the consistent provision of a beautiful, well-maintained, and feature-rich off-leash environment for dogs and their owners. However, like many municipal parks, the Estes Park Recreation and Park District or local animal welfare groups may periodically host community events that involve or benefit dog owners. While specific, regularly scheduled "promotions" for the dog park are not commonly advertised, special events such as pet adoption days, canine health fairs, or seasonal dog-themed festivals might occur in the wider Estes Park area. For instance, the Estes Park Events Complex, located centrally near the dog park and Lake Estes, hosts "Dog Shows" and other pet-related events, showcasing the region's dog-friendly nature. These events, while not direct "promotions" for the dog park, enhance the overall pet-friendly environment. To stay informed about any community-wide pet events, special activities, or operational updates (such as potential closures for maintenance or changes to water access), it is highly recommended to check the official websites of the Estes Park Recreation and Park District (evrpd.com) and Visit Estes Park (visitestespark.com), or their respective social media channels. These resources provide the most current information for local residents and visitors alike.

Nice dog park with separate areas for big and little dogs. Water spigots are available for dog water. Dog bags and scoopers are also available. There are shelters and benches for people. There is also a water area that the dogs can cool off in on the warmer days. Free dirt parking lot with limited parking.

Amazing dog park. This town loves their dogs. Water bowls, toys, poop bags are just a few of the great things available here. There are 3 sections as well. One for small dogs and 2 for large dogs. Well maintained and most of all, dog approved.

As a dog trainer, I don't normally like dog parks or recommend them as they can be a breeding ground for disease and encourage bad and rude behavior. However, this dog park is maintained really well! I love that there were multiple areas to take individual dog's, there was well maintained equipment, plenty of balls and chuck-its for the owners to use and we had access to a lake, which our dogs definitely enjoyed! I still recommend being very cautious when taking your dog to a dog park, but this one is so far definitely one of my favorites based on the set up and condition of it!
