If you have a SMALL dog beware!!!! Our two small dogs managed to squish their way through the fence here before we could catch them!!!! Why in the hell would you have a whole fence line that has very small openings and then have two gate peices where a small dog could just walk right through the bars???? My dog instantly took off and almost got hit on the highway. Me and my husband spent a good HOUR filling in that part of the fence with rocks so it wouldn’t happen to our dogs or anyone else’s again. If your going to build a dog park do it right and make it secure. There is no reason a portion of the small dog fence is as wide as the big dogs fence.

Services Offered
East Row Dog Park, while primarily an off-leash play area, offers several key amenities that enhance the experience for both dogs and their owners.
- Separated Large and Small Dog Sections: To ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs, the park features distinct, spacious areas for large and small breeds. This separation helps prevent accidental rough play and allows smaller or more timid dogs to feel secure while enjoying their time off-leash. It's important for owners of small dogs to be aware of the fence security, as one previous visitor noted an issue with openings in the small dog fence. However, the community often works to address such concerns, indicating an active effort to maintain safety.
- Water Spigot: A significant convenience, the park provides a water spigot, meaning you don't necessarily need to bring your own water for your dog. This ensures your canine companion stays hydrated, especially during warmer Kentucky days, and reduces the amount of gear you need to carry.
- Community-Supported Maintenance: The park operates on a community-supported model, meaning its cleanliness, safety, and functionality rely on donations and volunteer efforts. This active community involvement ensures the park remains a well-maintained and enjoyable space for everyone.
- Volunteer Opportunities: For those looking to give back, the park actively seeks volunteers. This offers a fantastic way for pet parents and furiends to contribute to their local community, help maintain the park, and build friendships with other dog lovers.
- Donation and Fundraising Initiatives: As a community-supported park, East Row Dog Park relies on donations and fundraising to cover its operational costs. Various ways to support the park, including direct donations, purchasing merchandise like t-shirts, and personalized bricks, are often available. This funding directly contributes to keeping the park clean, safe, and fun.

East Row Dog Park offers several features that make it a standout destination for dog owners in Kentucky.
