Apr 21, 2025 · Frances VaughanI have been coming here for 10 years. It is so great what the county has done to make it so pleasant to come here. I would say this is the best dog park I. All of Dakota Count. You will see why it's worth registering $$.
Dec 24, 2024 · Jennifer PennerThis place is great. I have had any issues with aggressive dogs and it seems everyone is really helpful and nice. Large areas for the dogs to run in. The walking trails are great and covered in wood chips so even after the rain, you don't get super muddy. Things to be aware of: 1. Water is NOW provided. This means no more having to bring your own! 2. Toys are technically not allowed. People will fuss at you if you bring them and it's better you don't. Toys cause fights. 3. In the evening (during the summer), the bats come out. They will swoop by your head. 4. Make sure YOU and your dog have tick protection. 5. They added a light for the nighttime in the main area, which is great. However, the back trails are unlit so keep that in mind if you go at night.
Feb 04, 2025 · Rob (SurlyITJesus)I took my pup here for the first time and he loved it! You can choose whether to bring your pup to the giant field to play ball and run or pick one of the multitude of wooded paths that break off into little dog trails in between the trees! Lots to adventure, and the owners/dogs at the park during our visit were all amazing! My only concern was the park has to be nearby a shooting range or something because there were loud popping noises consistently - my dog is afraid of fireworks and I could tell he was a little more reserved and anxious with those noises.
Sep 03, 2024 · Tera LindsayOne of my favorites. Its a huge place, open field on one half and a huge wooded area with a network of trails on the other. Completely fenced in. Always a lot of other dogs for the pups to play with. Kind of far from the cities but it's worth it. Only downside is you have to pay $5 for parking. That or get an annual parking pass which, in my opinion, is the way to go. Pro tip: Split the price of the annual parking with another dog owner because you will get 2 passes for if you have 2 vehicles.
