We used the small dog area for a Dachshund meet-up and it was a great place to bring our dog. There was plenty of space and was clean with trash bins and doggy waste bag stations. Had plenty of grass and trees to sniff on. Each entrance had 2 gates so no dogs were able to get out while ones came in. All around it was a great experience!

Promotions or Special Offers

As a public park operated by the City of Costa Mesa, Bark Park does not typically offer commercial promotions or discount programs in the traditional sense. Its primary "promotion" is the free and open access to a high-quality, well-maintained dog park facility for all residents and visitors.

However, the City of Costa Mesa's Parks and Community Services Department often hosts community events, workshops, or educational programs related to pet care or park usage that might be of interest to Bark Park visitors. These events, while not direct monetary promotions, add value to the community's experience. For example, they might host a pet adoption fair, a dog training demonstration, or even a "clean-up day" at local parks where volunteers are rewarded with community appreciation. To stay informed about any such activities or relevant city announcements, it is recommended to regularly check the official City of Costa Mesa website or their Parks and Community Services social media channels. While there aren't coupons for entry, the consistent provision of a fantastic, free amenity is itself a significant benefit to the local population.

Open and big size lot with hots of shade in the small dog area. Big dog area doesn’t have that much shaded spot but with even larger lot. Our dog really enjoy it here.

I didn't get to enjoy the park with my pups as I didn't wanna risk them getting kennel cough. But I will definitely come back as I've never seen a community really protect our furbabies. I appreciate the sign notifying the owners. There were 2 separate areas for small and large dogs, which I always prefer parks to have. Also, sad that I missed the Halloween event. What a cool community.
