Great dog park with two sides, one for big dogs and one for little dogs. Most people and dogs are friendly and playful. Some areas don't have good grass coverage, so expect a little dirt if there is rough playing or ball chasing. Free parking and some seating in the shade.

From energetic romps to leisurely sniff-abouts, Achieva Paw Park provides an essential outdoor outlet for Dunedin's canine residents.
One of the most praised aspects of Achieva Paw Park is its clear division into two distinct areas: "one for big dogs and one for little dogs." This separation is crucial for ensuring the safety and comfort of all pups, allowing smaller or more timid dogs to play without being overwhelmed, while larger dogs can enjoy their space freely. Most visitors highlight the friendly atmosphere, noting that "Most people and dogs are friendly and playful," contributing to a positive experience for everyone. While some areas might have "a little dirt if there is rough playing or ball chasing" due to less grass coverage, the overall sentiment is that the park is a "Great dog park." The availability of "Free parking and some seating in the shade" further enhances its appeal, making it a convenient and enjoyable destination for the community. The park even features agility equipment and a wash station, adding to its comprehensive offerings.

Accessing the park is straightforward, and visitors will appreciate the "free parking" available on-site, which helps to make visits hassle-free. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, providing ample time for dog owners to visit at their convenience, whether for an early morning run or an evening play session. While the park is fully fenced, all dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the designated off-leash areas. It's always a good practice to check the official City of Dunedin website for any specific rules, temporary closures, or maintenance schedules before your visit to ensure the best experience.
Achieva Paw Park is well-equipped with a variety of services and amenities designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for both dogs and their owners:

- Dog Washing Area: After a fun and potentially muddy play session, the convenient dog washing station is a welcome amenity, allowing owners to rinse off their pups before heading home.
- Shaded Seating and Structures: The park offers multiple benches and picnic tables, many located under "shade trees" and a "shade structure," providing comfortable resting spots for human companions out of the direct sun.

Apr 21, 2025 · Alisa OswaltMy dogs love this park and so do I for the most part. The only reason I don't give this great park a 5 star is because people with large dog well over the weight limit bring their dog's over to the small side. Not all small dogs like large dogs, not all large dogs know how to play with small dogs it's safer for the small and the big dogs to be separated. (Ask all the small dog owners if it's okay before bringing your big dog over)
Nov 20, 2024 · Jordan HillIncredible! I heard about this park the for buddy the last few trips down, but just realized it’s a charity/communtiy effort from Achieva bank. Wow, that’s the right way to give back 🐶
Apr 23, 2025 · CC (Chris)Took our 75 lb pup to the big dog side of this park and it is amazing- tons of benches plus picnic tables, water bowls all over, a dog pool you can fill up, shade, a tunnel and agility poles, and super friendly dog owners. It seems like the small dog side is busier and we were the only dog in the big dog side for a while. But soon there were a few other dogs and the nicest dog owners. I like that the park isn’t huge so that I can always see my dog. Lots of room to run though.
Dec 28, 2021 · Dark HorseReally lovely space for dogs and their people. It seems maybe it used to be all grass, but as one can imagine, the grass isn’t exactly thriving in the Florida sand. I’ve seen other local dog parks utilize wood chips, and there is certainly an abundance available from hurricane debris 🫣
