Weros Pet Shop

Very poor customer service. I came in looking for some small crickets or even just medium crickets with the mention of this being for a baby jumping spider they handed me a bag of large crickets and far too many too the point where they would just die off or have to be released and die off in the wild. At first they were cordial but the second I inquired about something smaller like a meal worms because I know they can come in smaller sizes they had me caught up on the price and quantity and they were being incredibly rude. I’m not exactly sure why they didn’t just direct me to the section where those critters would be so I can simply browse. It was my first time in the store I saw a lot of people and didn’t just want to wander around. I was refunded but the lady was getting so upset about my inquiries she just said I can keep my money and the crickets which would have died… I try to go to family pet shops like these because I expect there to be a little more respect for the animals including the critters because all life is precious without those critters how some of the pets we care for even eat? But this place seemed just as bad as petsmart and Petco if not worse. Upon looking around the store wasn’t super well kept and the animals seemed neglected. I’m not coming back here again and unless you’re a quick in and out they are gonna give you some attitude about any length of time you spend there outside their preference. They were giving a lot of attitude to the lady in front of me purchasing a part which they were handling very poorly. If you wanna come here I’d just come here to rescue some of these poor animals the living conditions are terrible and you can tell this business is primarily based on money and barely any compassion for animal life.

When yesterday bought 6 baby chick's really nice, they help me very friendly I do like how they treat people 10+

I absolutely do not like the customer service, especially the cashier does not have a form to speak to the customers in English nor in Spanish and wouldn’t even leave her phone come on you’re working not on your personal time even the guys that work on the outside seriously a no and to top it off it’s out first time here

I have been going here for a few years , much more lately to purchase food for my dragons, Almost weekly, all the employees here are very helpful , very knowledgeable, they are willing to help and answer all questions we have, the store has improved so much the past few months , the animals look happy and healthy , the reptiles look in much better condition than they did in the past, still room for improvement like any thing else but really a great place to go, they have many kinds of pets , snakes , lizards , fish , turtles , ducks , chickens , exotic birds, bunny’s , chinchilla’s even pigs , food for reptiles , crickets , worms , green horn worms , awesome place.

I came bought a dove and they told me it was a ringneck dove, turned out to be a female hybrid dove with Eurasian Collared! She was very large compared to the male I have so they really don’t know what they’re selling you. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase 👍🏽
