I recently visited Tongs Tropical Fish & Pets , and I can confidently say it has everything a pet owner such as myself could ever need! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who were genuinely passionate about animals. The store was immaculately clean and well-organized, with a wide variety of products ranging from high-quality pet food to unique toys and accessories.

Don't waste your time buying fish here. They don't care. You'll have dead fish. I got reeled in by the price and spent about $350 dollars here. 80% of my fish purchase have died with in 2wks... I'm not new to the aquarium world, so I know what's abnormal. When I did my last purchase as my fish was still inside the bag, not even in the tank yet, my daughter and I noticed it had lic on it. Called the store, and he told me to just pick them off or bring it back he'd give me another one. Well, being the other fish like him had holes in the fin. I didn't want that one, so we decided to take the lic off ourselves. Days later, I guess because I didn't open the tail fins, I found more lice on him. A total of 7 lice. 4 fish died within a couple of days of purchase. I started seeing a white coat appear on them, so I kept watch. Other fish I noticed the win on their head was looking damaged a little. Within 2 days later, slowly but surely, all the fish of my purchase started showing white spots on them (ich). I went to the store of the medication to medicate them, but fish are still dying. I've had a fancy goldfish tank before, and I was able to keep my fish alive to live. I've raised them from babies to adults, and I've never seen this before. When I called to tell him about this, he made it seem like it's something I'm doing. Says now that the fish are dead, he can't do anything, but they shouldn't have died that fast and got that sick. Now all (a total of 17) of my fish are deadSo I won't be spending any more money at this location.

this pet shop is definitely one of the best pet shops i’ve been to in south central one of there new workers looks very young and he is very helpful and has good customer service i will be coming bacc soon n will b a costumer here as long as i live in la
