Over the past several years, I’ve had the pleasure of bringing home a Yorkie and my cousin two Maltese puppies from Puppies Secret, and they’ve truly become cherished members of our family. This store has consistently impressed me with its cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, and the genuine friendliness of the staff. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that the team here cares deeply about their puppies and the families they serve. One of the standout qualities of Puppies Secret is their competitive pricing, which I found to be more reasonable than other options online. What made our experience even more reassuring was their thoroughness and professionalism—both puppies came with up-to-date shots, clear care instructions, and warranty options that provided peace of mind. It’s unfortunate to see some negative comments about pets becoming ill, but I feel it’s important to share some perspective. Illnesses can occur in any environment where multiple animals are housed, whether it’s a kennel, mill, or shelter. Puppies Secret has protocols in place to address these risks, including their warranty policies that cover certain health issues. For prospective pet owners, it’s always wise to do research, understand the inherent risks, and work closely with your vet after bringing a new puppy home. NEVER EVER buy a dog from here. I bought two Chihuahua puppies, September 11. when I got them, one of them was sick terribly and I was having to drive all the way to the vet that was 40 minutes that they make you go to, multiple times because i was scared my dog was going to die she was in terrible condition. On September 29, not even a month having her she had an episode where she got dizzy, couldn’t walk, was throwing up, and froze to what we were told was a seizure. her head was falling she had NO energy. so we rushed to the nearest urgent care at 10 at night. they couldn’t even find out what had caused her to do that they gave her a shot for nausea and she got better. about once a day when we would look at her, she would wobble her head side to side, but we didn’t think much of it since she is a puppy. on November 3, the same thing happened to her but worse, She froze up her whole body like she was dead and she was crying but couldn’t move. this was the most traumatizing thing I have ever seen in my entire life. me and my boyfriend rushed to ER but didn’t make it on time and she died on the way there. I have never been so traumatized, especially since I had such a strong emotional connection with this dog. now she’s dead and her sister is depressed and I’m scared for her also. Also, to mention that her sister was also sick when we got them and she would throw up blood. The store won’t even give us our money back since by the way, they overcharge on all their dogs. The owner says she needs documentation, saying what my dog had was hereditary but she is dead and we can’t even do tests on her. The way they handle this is sick and horrifying. if you ever need to buy a dog, I 100% recommend puppies and rescues in Pembroke Pines. I also regret reading the reviews after I bought the dogs and not before. do not support this store trust me i am trying to save everyone from the pain i am going through. I would do ANYTHING to have my dog back. i had a Chihuahua for 13 years that i got from a breeder so i know what is normal and what’s not. this place will be shut down one day and im so sorry for everyone that has gone through the same thing.

bought my two girls from here & it was the best decision ever made! they have lots of variety and beautiful puppies. definitely recommend!

I purchased a Maltese puppy for $2,300 from Puppies Secret and was very disappointed. The first morning after bringing her home, she became limp and unresponsive, showing alarming symptoms. We immediately took her back to the pet store, and they kept her overnight. The staff's attitude was dismissive, insinuating that we didn’t know how to care for a dog. When we brought her home again, the same symptoms reappeared on the third morning. Concerned, we returned to the store, but instead of genuine support, we were met with accusations of neglect and even a suggestion that we trade her for a larger dog if we couldn’t handle a small one. This was both offensive and unprofessional. While they did take the dog to the vet, the condescending lectures and lack of accountability were frustrating. Afterward, I checked reviews and noticed a troubling pattern of similar complaints hidden beneath a sudden surge of five-star reviews. This experience left me deeply unsatisfied. I cannot recommend this place for anyone looking for a healthy, well-cared-for puppy.

My family member purchased a dog from this place a few weeks ago], and tragically, her puppy passed away within a month due to an illness. Despite our efforts to provide the best care, including veterinary visits and treatment, it was clear the puppy was unwell from the start. It’s deeply concerning that the dog’s health issues were not disclosed or addressed before the sale. This experience has caused emotional pain and financial strain for our family. I urge anyone considering purchasing a pet here to proceed with caution and to thoroughly vet the health of any animals. Transparency and ethical treatment of pets are critical, and unfortunately, that was not our experience with this place!
