Pets Plus

New Review 12.14.2020, So my impression before was nice, but my new impression after getting a rabbit here is not impressing. I know rabbits are probably not the most profitable, but it helps to show a little care a knowledge about the pets we're taking home. It helps if each rabbit came with information, like where did it come from and what conditions it lived in and what sex it is. The staff during the time was not so knowledgeable of the rabbit and the handling methods we were taught there was not perfectly correct, I also remember one time a staff member grabbing it by the scruff in one of our visits, luckily I can't bring myself to do that pick up method. After our veterinarian visit, the doctors mentioned an early stage of pododermatitis in the rabbits back legs, basically inflammation, it is difficult to assume where this happened, from the place they get the rabbits or the store itself. The doctor taught us proper holding techniques and tons of handouts for first time owners. I think the Pets Plus should also improve their first time pet owner system by giving out brochures or print outs, it doesn't add tons of expenses. Also getting a proper pet box would also be nice, I expect a formal pet box with holes cut out when you take them home, we have a like Sams Club box and the staff member almost completely sealed it the box if it wasn't for another staff member showing concern that it was terrible idea to suffocate our rabbit, We love our new family member very much and spoil our bunny more than enough. We did not expect so much for a rabbit, if your new to rabbits, its basically between a dog or cat and CANNOT live in a cage, luckily we already decided on a free roaming rabbit, where our bunny has a entire room. Past Review: I never knew about this pet shop and supply store, it is very nice and clean and have wonderful staff that greeting me and asked if I needed any help. Though I wish they had more pet options, like more rabbits and such, it is still a nice place to go to for pet needs. The dog washing station is a nice touch and a great place to wash you dog if you don't want a mess at home and for $10, it isn't that bad of a deal. I would recommend this place for any, clean, homely feel, and nice staff will keep me coming!

We got the newest addition to our family recently and she’s settled in so well even though it’s only been a few days. I couldn’t be happier (: she definitely loves staring out the window and climbing into bed

This is a really great pet store! I was really impressed by the grooming station in the back. We usually buy stuff to feed the birds and squirrels outside. But if I got a cat or dog I would definitely be going there to get supplies. They also had some really cute adoptable pets. Potato was so adorable ;^;.The only thing I could really say that I would have as a criticism is that the fish are all saltwater fish and a bit expensive. But I prefer fresh water tanks because they're easier to deal with, the fish are cheaper, and they're a little bit more ideal for people learning thanks. But it's a really great store with some good people working there. If you're looking for pet stuff definitely stop in and check it out.

Got a rabbit in June and requested special order for a female lion head rabbit they gave me a lop rabbit and told me it was a female they don’t know the breads of rabbit nor how to gender them or the place they get the rabbits from don’t know the breads or gender the rabbit I got was male and now my female rabbit possibly is pregnant don’t recommend getting rabbits from this place I got rabbits last August got one rabbit first and she was a female went back two week later and get another rabbit cause I thought she was lonely and ask them the gender and they said we don’t know how to gender them sure enough my rabbits had babies in November

The staff was very helpful in recommending a solution to my puppy’s tummy issues. She even offered multiple solutions at different price points rather than hard selling the most expensive option. Puppy is super happy and I will continue to buy my supplies here.
