Petco

Groomers who don't want to work cancelled my appointment asking for a vet release because of my dogs age, I've solely been bringing him to Petco (although at a different McKinney location) for all grooming for 8yrs now and would have liked to get him shaved for the dog sitter. Seems like the "policy" is for when they choose they don't want to take you if you can't get in at your primary location. Poor judgement on their part, lost a good customer who tips well.

Do not get your dog groomed here. They absolutely destroyed our dogs hair and shaved EVERYTHING. Also i asked to get his nails done and this is what they look like. Waste of money and heartbreaking

By far the best ran petco in dfw. Everything from the seemingly genuine happiness of the employees inspiring them to do their job well, to the cleanliness of the store, animal habitats and superior animal selection. It all comes together to provide an above-average shopping experience to any other pet store that I have personally been to in the dfw metroplex. This is not your average petco.

This was our first visit here, but I will definitely be using them again. They did an excellent job on my miniature poodle! She was a bit matted but they were able to clean her up n she smelled AMAZING! Their attention to detail was great n Vanessa was super sweet and took the time to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be back to get her groomed again and to take my other dog to be bathed by them. I definitely trust my pets with the staff! Thanks Vanessa!

Heartbreaking experience for my pup and myself. They shaved all her hair saying she had a lot of knots in her hair which i didn’t see.I was so happy to take her grooming for the very first time and they did so bad. DONT GO TO PETCO if you are grooming your dog for the first time. After coming home she was broke not eating anything. I am feeling so bad seeing her like this . I will never take her to any groomer.
