Petco

This Petco is fantastic. It is always so clean and organized. They also have an extensive amount of toys and products for cats which I appreciate. Cats sometimes seem to get the short end of the stick, but here I always leave with a basket full of items. The staff here is also always nice and super helpful. Love this store! My only piece of feedback is that the products for hermit crabs need to be re-evaluated. Calcium sand is horrible for them. The heating pads and other items for hermit crabs need to be re evaluated as well. They are high maintenance pets and require very specific conditions to be happy and healthy. Please provide feedback to the corporate office about researching proper hermit crab care, and invest in providing proper products for potential hermit crab owners.

I am uncertain who actually helped me resolve my issue. I came in to purchase a bag of dog food and had enough points for a free bag. The associate behind the counter and I were trying to redeem those, but could not. She took the time to pull out her own phone to call the helpline to walk through the process so I can get my free bag of dog food. She went over and above. Thank you!

Horrific! Their guinea pigs are in aquariums that are too small, and there is hardly any hay in the cage! They need hay always. Too much food! They don't need three bowls! Also, they need two hides! Too little bedding! So much is wrong! It smelled funky, there are flies in the habitats, and the goob workers give dirty looks! Adopt don't shop!

I came in and specifically asked up front for help finding a few items I’m unfamiliar with. The store was nearly empty, and there were two people up front (one I took to be the manager since she had to help the other girl with a transaction later). The “manager” couldn’t be bothered to step out from behind the counter to help me and just pointed me toward a section. Took me 10-15 minutes to find 3 items without help, and when I came back to check out she was just on her phone. Super lazy and dismissive.

DON’T SHOP here unless you are 100% certain the product will fit. Bought 2 collars for my pups in December and the kids gave them as Christmas presents. Well, the collars didn’t fit. Took time to return them after 90 days in original package with receipt. Just wanted to exchange them for 2 more expensive ones. Would not take the originals back said it was store policy. Well, you have lost a customer who shopped there often with 2 dogs and all the business that means for life. Will NEVER spend another dime with them. Awful policy and it cost them business.
