Petco

I just got the dog, I grabbed a harness and leash, ran to the register to pay. The cashier offered to help put the harness on while I cleaned up pee. I walked getting things I needed when my dog peed 4 more times, each time a staff member got it for me. I was so embarrassed but the staff made me feel ok. Thank you.

This Petco is pet good, especially for the location. The store is usually stocked up in general; I personally shop for dog and fish items and they usually have most of the products I need in stock. The health of the fish are hit or miss, maybe it’s the vendors or depending on who’s talking care of the fish? But there’s some variability. Good fish here either way. I got 5 super cool glass catfish, 2 albino Corydora catfish, 2 GloFish Cory catfish, nerite snail. I also took advantage of the Tetra deal, buy 3 get 1 free. They are more aggressive than I expected out of eight. I only have five left. Thankfully petco has a good return policy for the freshwater fish. The guppies died but they are problematic now, since I’ve been inbred so much. Petco in Glen Burnie fish tanks are taken care of very well, including their saltwater fish. Plus, This Petco recommend the Glen Bernie Petco for saltwater fish, specifically because one of the employees is a saltwater tank expert. One day, I’ll be brave and rich enough to start a saltwater tank.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized.

I am a professional sharpener with over 36 years of being in the business. I sharpened over 60 blades and scissors for them and they called me back saying their shears and most of their clipper blades were dull. We came back the next day and they gave me 15 blades and 3 shears to resharpen. Now, I will admit that I'm not perfect and duller blades do happen from time to time, but I was quite upset to find rusty blades in the 15 that they gave me to resharpen and several of the "dull" blades had seen quite a bit of use. They cheated me out of a out $60 of free sharpening saying that I messed those blades up, when in fact I never did those blades the first time. If their groomers would cheat me, who's to say their other business practices are the same. The manager was apologetic, but the fact remains that the groomers lied and I told the manager to tell her groomers to find someone else in the future, I will not be cheated again!

Easy to navigate and fully stocked and reasonably priced. No long lines but it's Sunday evening the day before July 4th. Lol
