Kylie Summers, is the best groomer I know of. She is genuine, loving and cares for her fur clients plus the owners of those fur clients. Always makes sure you are happy and satisfied. I can't say enough about this superb young lady!@

We buy our pup toys and treats here - he van only have lowfat treats, so I checked online before going to the store .. including price shopping for certain things. Went in too the store to buy those items I found on their website only to find the in-store price was dramatically higher!! I showed the clerk the online price at checkout and they honored all the online prices. Thus was the case on all 5 products I went to buy... not just in 1 or 2 items. LESSON: check online prices for all items you buy here and make sure they are honored - save yourself tons of money!! And if they don't honor them... order online for in-store pick up to assure you get the lower prices!

I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN!!! Just tried to buy some fish on 3/1/2025 at 6:15. Another customer was looking around at fish and was ready to get some, so I went to the cashier at the register to see if we could get some help. He said, "I don't know, you can try, then picked up his cell phone, I thought to call someone over. After waiting another 5 minutes I looked at the cashier, who had no one in his line. He had headphones around his neck and his cell phone in his hand and I asked, "Are you busy?" He said "Yeah" and told me to look for a guy with a thing on his head. I asked what kind of thing? He said "A hat". I went back over and talked to the other customer who was waiting to get fish and he said the manager was walking around. Well, she was ignoring the customers, so I left.

The only time I shop here is when I have no other choice, in fact I’d rather go 15-20 minutes out of my way to shop literally anywhere else. Hardly any hustle out of the staff, I’ve literally seen them kill fish from handling them so roughly, and every time I do end up needing to go in last minute, they remind me why I’d rather shop somewhere else. The staff are actually pretty nice so I’m not sure if its a staffing problem a management problem or a training problem 🤷‍♂️ either way I wish Albany had more options.

Since starting to keep fish, I’ve been visiting Petco recently and I appreciate the care that this store has towards their animals. The tanks are clean, the fish appear reasonably healthy (you’re gonna find struggling fish at ANY fish store don’t care if it’s big box or no) The staff are always willing to help, they’re kind and patient and never get annoyed with my irritating fish requests. They are also knowledgeable. Special shout out to Klegan, (I think that’s what the name tag said? Young human, short brown hair) he is incredibly helpful and very personable, I have had nothing but positive interactions with him any time I approach the counter, and sometimes I have some super annoying needs. He even didn’t shame me that much when I brought in the corpse of a fish that had died as proof for my first return of a fish that had died. Thank you so much!!!!!!
