Petco

Petco has a great program that allows teachers to apply for a class pet! My kindergarten class was blessed with. Gecko, through this program and my shopping experience was great. The staff was helpful l, knowledgeable, and made this process easy. My class set up our reptile tank today and we are excited for our new class pet!

Formal complaint agaonsty an aquatic specialist Jay (she)who said it was too bad I had children…. Little does she know of my expanded family and loving nature of all of my children 6 in total… successful and have jobs and careers, … my youngest is very special to me, ….I don’t think she should have a job and I think there’s a problem with people like her that are working at a place like that. I was there with my two year-old son and I asked about fish and she tried scientific with me when all I needed was fish pointing out the exact type…. And then she wanted to I don’t know if she had issues with herself or whatever but she was not busy doing nothing and I asked for help…. And all she wanted to do was try to nitpick me I was trying to pick for my baby boy. If you are a parent of small children… Or a man … do not go to this establishment. They have a poor corporate culture towards men…. In the higher management female….. just recognizing that… and the comments and attitude were unacceptable for any establishment by anyone working there… and then he was aggressive or harmful to this person she just didn’t like me being a man wearing cowboy boots I think.. and having Children!!!!

I had a great experience at Petco! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything about the store was well-organized. However, I noticed that multiple hamsters were being kept in small tanks together. Since hamsters are solitary animals, it might be more comfortable for them to be housed individually to reduce stress. I’d suggest keeping one hamster per tank for their well-being. Overall, I love the store and appreciate the care provided to the animals!

Staff here does not speak lol no good mornings, how are you, can I help nothing. I just met a guy that works the registers I’ve only seen him once he showed me the snakes and the habitat for BLKFRI, he has the most personality looks chill, VERY HELPFUL, not scared to handle the animals. The grooming area, they’re social IF you talk to them first Veronica is who I take my dog to for grooming she is so sweet, informative and aware of my dog she can be a bit shy but that was my first experience we’ve been to her 3x already. The vet area that’s probably the only area where everyone staffed is friendly, loud and have professional greetings. Idk, maybe I frighten some people here I am 5 7 with a big butt but idk lol. They’re the closest to me and that’s already a 20 minute drive so really don’t have any relocating options I’m only here once every two months so truly not too serious to consider. But hey if the dog loves this place I guess that’s all that matters. Here’s a few pics of my boujie zaza. Thank you Veronica, see you in 2 months you guys enjoy the holidays. I would like to thank Petco for crediting my account for $10 after they refused to price match an item on their own website. The $10 was enough to make up for the inconvenience. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience at Petco. Petco store associates refused to price match the lower price of a fish that was on their website. But it was not their fault. Policy depends on the store. I'm willing to overlook the Petco associates who were very helpful, but it seems that Petco needs to make sure their store associates can price match.
