Petco

As much as I like the convenience, I’ll be finding another pet store to shop from. After spending $100, this company wants to CHARGE an additional fee for a bag!!!! That’s part of being in retail. Provide a bag to carry a purchase!!! It’s not about the amount of the fee. It’s the principle. How ridiculous can you be?! I don’t know a SINGLE small business that does this and they are the ones that barely scrape by. Petco do better. Shame on you

Fantastic staff here, especially at the mobile vet clinic! We needed updated vaccines for our cats, and we needed them quickly and as inexpensively as possible (those pet deposits are no joke!). We were able to schedule a next day appointment online, which was so easy and convenient. I even had a question regarding the intake form, and the customer service rep I spoke to over the phone was also very kind and helpful. We didn't have to wait very long at all, and they were brought into the vet service area, where the technician was ever so gentle with my wild and scared little kitty, trying to coax her out of her (excessively roomy) carrier. That young lady was also a pro though, because my cat was still being stubborn, and she expertly got her by the scruff and helped get her vaccinated safely and quickly. Also greatly appreciated the veterinarian letting me know about my senior cat's heart murmur, and checking her teeth to make sure they weren't an issue. I just got the impression that these ladies know their business and love animals, and had a great attitude while doing a job that cannot be easy, as they're doing serious work in the midst of a busy store. They just made a stressful trip as pleasant as possible, and I am ridiculously thankful for them. The rest of the staff were also lovely, so please Petco, do whatever you can to hold onto people like these, as they are an exceedingly rare breed, and make a hugely positive impact. The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the fellow customer milling around the small vet visit area with kids in tow, who were needlessly in the way every time I had to transport my frightened and stressed out cats to and from the section. The woman loudly proclaimed they were "there to look at the animals", and were doing so specifically in the area where they receive MEDICAL CARE. Incredibly inappropriate. This is not a zoo, this area is a vet's office for all intents and purposes. Please respect these kind, intelligent, hardworking people, along with those whose pets are being tended to!

I went in with my daughter to pick up some dog food. The trip was a full on education experience as the person working there was super helpful answering questions about the ferrets and the birds and the reptile to my five-year-old. In addition to doing her work bearded dragons and turtles and providing a lot of educational information for me as a possible consumer. She was super kind as well.

Brought my mother’s 15 year old labradoodle in to be groomed. Was told she was too old and matted (which I just washed and brushed her recently so that’s BS) and turned us away after we drove her all the way there. Ridiculous and unprofessional! I will NEVER recommend Petco grooming to anyone after that experience.

I absolutely love this Petco location! Not only do they have everything I need for my pets, but the added convenience of grooming services and vaccinations in one spot is a game changer. It saves me time and makes pet care so much easier. The grooming team is fantastic—professional, kind, and my dog always looks amazing after each visit. Plus, being able to get vaccinations done during the same trip is super convenient. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help with any questions I have. Highly recommend this store for all your pet needs!
