Naomy was very helpful and informative when we came to Petco 1/1/25 for my daughter to purchase a second parakeet for a friend for one we got her for Christmas. Ace helped us on 12/26/24. Naomy gave use lots of tips and suggestions which really helped to educate us further to care for these new parakeets.

Friendly staff, quick to help. Always have the liveliest crabs and other critters! You can tell they're well taken care of compared to some other places

This was 2nd time Petco groomed my Yorkie. The first time Tina was the groomer and she did an excellent job, doing exactly what I ask for. She said she had no problem with my baby, as I have been told by every other groomer. I took her back to Petco a couple days ago and Michael was the groomer. My baby looks awful. I asked for Teddy bear cut. Her face is totally uneven and looks ridiculous. I asked for her ears to be trimmed and ponytail hair left long. Ponytail hair shaved and ears left with long hair. Michael said she was afraid of clippers and that was his explanation for this horrendous grooming. This is the first time out of a dozen grooms that anyone has told me this. Always got good grooming before. If you use Petco, request Tina. I would not recommend Michael for a groomer.

Arrived a little before 8 am for an 8am appointment. This is not my first appointment with Petco and have for the most part been pleased with their service. However today, I waited until 8:15a as there were no employees visible in the store. I did eventually see an employee name Page, who later, via phone call identified herself as the manager. When I called to share my experience and some feedback to the Manager, I was immediately reminded that customers should not be in the store while it's closed. She admitted hearing me yell “hello” and says she didn’t answer me because I shouldn’t have been in the store and she was doing morning duties. I asked why I had not received a return call. She stated the grooming department’s phones are having internet issues. Paige stated the groomer was in an accident on the way to work.(I’m praying he’s okay. However, he was the groomer for my pet's very 1st appointment with Petco. He cancelled the appointment an hour before appointment time. Understandable, things happen). My question for Paige is if she is the manager and knew her employee was not going to be at work, why not put up a sign or notify customers using the system used to confirm appointments. This is the 3rd time I’ve had an issue with this location. One time while At check out my pet was wearing a sweater I purchased a while ago. The cashier/manager asked if I intended to pay for the shirt he was wearing. What!?! At his last grooming visit I picked him up, went to the cashier and told her I had other items to purchase and would pay for everything at one time. It took me about 7 minutes to get the items. As I was standing in line the cashier was telling the manager “this lady was supposed to come back and pay for grooming but she never came back.” I’m like ma’am I am standing in line waiting to pay. I believe in giving folks chances to do right and don't want to automatically assume the worst but I’m feeling real dumb for being a Petco patron when their employees question my character and integrity and have no respect for my time.

Got a bearded dragon from these guys on Wednesday. He is the friendliest chillest little dude. He eats right out of our hands and loves to be held and pet. Whoever is taking care of the bearded dragons here deserves a raise. They’re doing an outstanding job. He also had a very healthy shed so the environment they’re keeping them in is on point. Very impressed, the person taking care of the bearded dragons is clearly the right person for the job.
