Petco

Took both of my grandmas pups (one senior and one chunky monkey who is around 6) to get groomed today for a bath and shape up to michelle who spoiled them rotten. I’m an stylist myself from another location of petco from socal and came up north to help my grandma with errands and to help get her pups all cleaned in the meantime, let me tell you our pups used to go to a private salon where they were always scared to go inside but when they come here to now and they have left happy with their tails wagging every single time. Our pups don’t always want to go into the groomers to get their toe beans touched but i’m just so happy with how they look and how they react every time we come to pick them up. Their nails are done, ears are cleaned, paws are shaved and teeth noticeably brushed. My grandma has no complaints to add to our review so take that as you please! My grandma only says that she has complete confidence in our groomer and wanted to say that she can tell that michelle has a love of animals and treats ours like her own. If you want someone to take care of your furry baby and know they are safe and cared for bring them to michelle. I trust her with them and don’t have a single worry when I bring our pups in.

Snakes are infested with mites. I know first hand, because I bought a ball python from there that had mites. I should have known better than to purchase an animal from a chain store. I didn't notice them right away (they can be very small) but a few days later they were all over it. I went in yesterday to get a couple frozen feeders and was looking at one of their "fancy" balls. Poor thing was covered in large mites (they are red). I let an employee know that their snakes were infested and she tells me that "Yes, they have spots that look like mites, but they are not mites." Shouldn't tell people that actually know what they are talking about a line like that. Seems like she was told to tell that to whomever brought it up. Take care of your animals Petco.

Each time I go to Petco I'm pleasantly surprised by the staff & the great customer service I receive almost every single time!! My overall shopping experience here is great & it's why I choose to keep coming back!! Thanks for a truly fantastic customer service shopping experience guys, 5 stars all day!! 🎉🎉🎉

The employees are no help. Only thing they can do is ring up an item for you! Website was having a 20% off sale and I asked an employee if I could get the same deal in store because on the website it says the item I want is not available. But they have the item in the store. A full stock of it. The employee said no. That that sale is only online. So I asked if they can update their inventory online so I can purchase it. The associate said he can’t do that. So how am I supposed to purchase the item? So not helpful and rude! Go get your pet supplies at PetSmart! The employees there are much nicer and price match.

My recent visit to Petco was marked by exceptional customer service. The checkout associate was incredibly kind and patient, going above and beyond to help me use my gift cards. Other associates went out of their way to assist me in finding an item, even accompanying me to it. However, the only downside was the unavailability of PrettyLitter, a product I use for my cats, making it necessary for me to visit another store. Overall, a great experience with just a minor inconvenience.
